Thanks guys for your responses so far. They are very helpful. I really like Tata's Anapati Arev, that's the kind of song I think people will get out of their seats for (great suggestion.) There will be a sizable amount of young people from all different backgrounds, and the Armenians tend to have been born in America. My mother has 'warned me' that we should play some Onnik Dinkjian type stuff, but everytime I hear that music I think shish kebab and church picnic. Any other suggestions? What do you guys think of Joseph Krikorian? Specific songs? And which Harout songs would be good? Thank you.

New to this forum. I am finishing up plans for my wedding in NYC next month and want the DJ to play up to ten Armenian tracks. There are going to be a lot of distinguished "odars" at this wedding and I want to showcase Armenian music as being fun and exciting to dance to in a classy setting. Any ideas for good tracks?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
