  1. Maral!!!!!!!!!! This is just terrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful and heartrending () letter! You obviously have a nose for first-class jokes ))))))))))))))))))
  2. Aaron and Luhay, Was absolutely fascinated by the degree of admiration you revealed towards the cities you live in. It is great that you have managed to find THE place. Personally I think yours is the place where you feel comfortable and safe (the people argument goes without saying). My town is arguably Moscow; can't say I fell in love with it when I moved there three years ago driven by the intention to find a good and well-paid job. Now having lived in the UK for 7 months I have come to appreciate many things which I know will be out of reach the moment my plane lands in Moscow (which should happen in September). Someone once said, "If you don't like something, change your attitude to it." Worth a try, I guess. Anait
  3. Who knows, who knows?... I might be old enough to be your grandmother .
  4. Congratulations are accepted! Will pass them on to V. V. Putin first thing tomorrow morning.
  5. Ed jan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't mean to upset you! I am sure you are pulling my leg about your age being young and ... (you are welcome to add any additional private information you might want to share with all of us)
  6. I couldn't have put it better, Arvestaked! A wasteful and costly effort! I suggest they give me a call so I can counsel them on how best to invest their money.
  7. Ed jan, I wouldn't know if you hadn't told me, would I? Besides I just wanted to remind you of the days when you were young and up to any kind of mischief.
  8. Two Armenian brothers have come to live in the United States & one day they are on the freeway with 2 seperate cars. The cop stops one of the brothers and says: "Do you know how fast you were going... license & registratin please."? The brother says: "I was going 101." Before he gives his license he says wait let me call my brother because he is going 405.
  9. Maral, I try not to plan far ahead, but unless I find a job here I should be back home in late September. The thing is that being an international student I need a work permit to stay in the UK and enjoy all the benefits attached (=be fairly paid). I can't say I have applied to many places but the point is that employers prefer to take on locals and avoid any embassy problems that internationals bring along. Besides my intention is just to stay here for a little while (say, 6-12 months), gain some work experience and then fly back home and make a contribution to the country that gave me everything. It doesn't seem like a good deal to the British employers though. Thanks for this, Anahid.
  10. Well-well, It seems I'm destined to suffer from constant jet lag on this forum considering the time difference between the UK and the US. Phantom22, my father is from Armenia, my mother is from Russia (but also of Armenian decent). I was born and raised in Russia, arrived in the UK 7 months ago to do my master's in communication at Cardiff Media School (located in Wales). Ed, this remark referred to Anahid's post. You should remember she invited you to come along to eat sushi off some gorgeous girl and do it in the way you like best – hot!.Hope no any other wonders left;) Well, I'm glad that you all liked the idea with my mini questionnaire. I bet even you, HyeForum regulars, uncovered some unexpected truth about each other. Great you all enjoyed it! Anait
  11. What a welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I woke up this morning and was literally knocked off my feet by your hot embrace (how very Armenian;)) Ed, who said I don't like sushi!? Hot – even more so. Maral and Yerevant1 (honestly, this can't be your name), I see you are both very attached to each other Sip, you answers left me giggling in a very silly way... Very creative thinking and way of life. Anahid, something tells me that Ed is not going to be asked twice and will get the first ticket to visit you. Anoushik thanks for your hearty welcome! Mosjan, I take it my username went down well with you since you honored me with your welcome . I see many of you are from the States; to me it's like the other end of the planet. That said, I am very glad to have come across this online forum and met you all! Anait xxx
  12. Edward, Thanks for holding out your hand. A pleasure to meet you PS How did you guess? I've been staying away from sushi bars since my friend showed me a very brutal and disturbing video involving sushi.
