Don't forget about Gevorg Dabaghyan. I've got his new CD "Miniatures" (Trad. Crossroads) , he plays here some ashugs' songs, church hymns and also his version of mugam "Shushtar", it's fantastic. Jivan also has new CD "Nazani" - he recorded it in Moscow (with H.Mouradian on kamancheh) and I liked it much more than his other recent works ( Nazeli, Fuad, Armenian fantasy ). Hope you can find it in States.

I know only one record of Chorni Khachik accompanying Uzbek and I like it very much - both of them(vocal and duduk). Are there other records? Yeghish and Vache Hovsepyan - yes! Old records of Gasparyan - yes! You mentioned few others. Well, I have their CDs but it doesn't make me feel anything. Vartan Grigoryan is one I like very much also. Don't have CD , only some MP3.
