Most are busy trying to uderstand or discover their Armenianness when they should be trying to discover their humanness. To Ara Keep dreaming off better days.Many dreams are turned to reality by sharing.

What better reason to turn the caucuses into a hunting camp.If there is a big push we can up that to at least 85%.

Then the facts are quite clear.The fight against terrorism has turned into a religious war.At least in the minds of the every day people.Well if thats the case the christian world should turn the caucusus into a big hunting camp and start killing every thing that moves.You know (kill them all and let god sort them out).At first I saw it as the muslims bringing religion into this world situation now I see the christians doing the same .Every body just go kill someone for God.

To Ara When I read your posts I do not feel alone.In a private post to you I had said we are just Armenians.We are no better or worse than any others. We tend to view ourselves better than others humans.We have not been put through any trials or tribulations that anyone else has not also shared.We are just Armenians no better no worse.Thank you for being brave enough to say this publicly.

Its quite amussing the opinions of the Armenian comunity out side of the U.S. about our president.Now if he were the president of armenia and had bombed the f#%*k out of the Azeri's you would have cheered him.But to you he is a hot head .Kinda sounds like us doesnt it?

I personally view him to be a better choice than Al Gore.Tho he is getting repetitive with his speaches.I am glad Gore didnt get in ,he would still be crapping his pants and hiding in a bomb shelter with Lieberman.Gore would be trying to give the Taliban wellfare and negotiating.Then he would say they are just missled and confused and we should pitty them.The reason europe doesnt understand Bush is because you dont have any cowboys.

I have often wondered why more Armenians are not independants instead of democrat or republican.Be afilliated with who will serve you and the comunity best not a party machine.

Dan and I were talking again at lunch about this.His daughter has said she has only smoked pot once and she fell asleep so she didn't like it.But it is the drinking all week long at her school she has gottin into.I think it is the need to fit in because she is in a frat.Now she has made it a habit because she has grown to like the beer buzz.But all the same peer presure.

I was talking to a friend on this topic and he had some thoughts on this based on his experiance raising 4 children in his life.He and his wife are both smokers and social drinkers.Three of his children neither smoke or drink and it was in the home all of their lives.All of these three are in collage or in the buisness world and are doing well.The middle child of the four drinks to excess and smokes.The drinking has hurt her collage scores and she was a high honor student in high school.You try and figure what happened in a year and a half to this person.In high school she neither drank or smoked. was it peer pressure and the need to fit in?

Thats strange.One of my favorite summer cocktails is 6oz.mango necter and 6oz.pineapple juice 2oz.dark rum blend with ice and enjoy.About parents and drugs and drinking.I have seen the children of tea totalers go the extreme of their upbringing and the children of addicts do the same ,going to the extreme of turning the parents into the police for posesion of drugs.

Wow this is just all to dam unbelievable.Lets see the topic was women driving.It seems since they got their licences they are the fault of the problems in the world,Prostitution,The degredation of the armenian comunity,our children marrying odars,the lack of Christianity in our people,I cant see for the life of me how this got here from women driving.I like when the missus drives me arround.It gives me time to look arround at the scenery.

In several of the previous post I have seen repeated what I had said in earlier post.There is only one specie of human beings.Quote(There are no human hybreds.)I will have to aggree with the logic it is the puritanical Armenian mind set that drive Armenians from the comunity of other Armenians.Hell you wouldn't except my children their half Prussian.Theres a people that no longer have a country to identify with.

One only has to realize all of our human differances are artificial.Geneticly we are all the same.The differances are due to geography.There are no human hybreds.

I have to agree with the strongest friendships being formed at a young age.I do not associate wiyh anyone from high school and only one person from the second grade .This person and i shared many of the same hobbys and interests since our child hood and we are involved with each other on more of a familly then friends.My children call him uncle out of respect.I would give him the shirt off of my back and he would do the same.My grandfather used to tell me you were rich if you make only one true friend in your life.Many people go through life with out ever making a true friend.

Now if you want to be right to the point it is called culling the herd.Those that can not retaliate to preserve self will have their weak genes removed from the herd. That is why I dislike fertility clinics .It allows those that would not procreate to unnaturally do so.There are many children that can be adopted. And it is only My opinion that this only dissrupts the natural process of things.(Sorry but at this time I view things from a naturalists point of view and to some it seems harsh.I was the bullied when i was a kid so I took to studies and science studies especially. Though I am Armenian I do not read or write the language. So it would be greatly appreciated if any coments to my coments would be in english as I am at your mercy or ridicule.

If it is a absolute I would want my child passive first.If you poke at the passive little rabbit enough you will pay by being bitten and scratched.It is called the will to live or the instinct to survive.But in the real world I will continue to raise my son as I have been doing.Also though I am Armenian I was not taught to read or wright the language so I am at your disadvantage ,Though not less than you.

It is indeed a interesting question.But the problem is there are no abslutes in parenting. I try to raise my son as neither a bullie or sissy.Its easyer to raise your child to be strong but kind.If a fight is brought to you finish it and if you see someone who has been treated badly be a comfort to them.

Just from a male slant on the subject.I think to much validity in a relationship is placed on romance.What about love,being devoted and supportive of your chosen companion.Being selfless and considerate and constantly nurturing to your relationship.Romance is the prelude to love, It is what makes or breaks a relationship.It seems once a bond is formed the romance is put to the side.Then the reality sets in,sometimes good and other times not so good.Its romances that clouds ones eyes and does not let you see what you are really getting into.It is better to love with your mind than your heart.You then are able to except what you have chosen for your self.
