What needs to be made is an extremely comprehensive Eastern Armenian - English / English - Eastern Armenian dictionary. Sorry, I've not yet bought that dictionary, so still no review. I'll get it soon.

Well, I have a Japanese dictionary that is about 688 pages. It has 50,000 words. This dictionary is about 650 pages. At the very least, I estimate about 35,000 (depending on font size and definition length. The dictionary I have is only about 240 pages, and contains a measly 4,500 entries... nowhere near enough to even hold an intelligible conversation.

Sorry for the double post, but I finally found a dictionary. A comprehensive Armenian dictionary! I am overjoyed.

Perhaps you could provide a specific book title? I looked up Shirak, and didn't find much.

Seriously, I've looked everywhere. I can't find an Eastern Armenian dictionary that contains over 7,000 entries. What I want is a comprehensive Eastern Armenian dictionary, not a concise travel dictionary. Could anyone point me in the right direction on this..?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I've recently learned how to say something in Armenian with near perfect fluidity and pronunciation. The problem is, I don't know some of the words, or how to spell them. The sentence, in transliterated Armenian, is: "Bolore dov ker kasumen vor Hayeren chem khosum yev haskanum, jistu yes Hye chem, byts iskakan Hye yev 'podcast chain' anum'. It's actually from an Eastern Armenian podcast, eh heh... But I figured that the message wasn't exclusive to the podcast. Disregarding 'Podcast chain', what do the other words mean? The words I need to know are Bolore dov ker kasumen jistu byts iskakan vor anum Forgive me if they're spelled wrong, I wrote it down as I heard it, so it's kind of in phonetic spelling. I basically just wanna know what the sentence means, and how each word breaks down to form the meaning. Again, sorry if this is the wrong place. (I'm probably embarrassing myself, but I need to know.)

True enough. I'm not even Armenian, nor do I have Armenian ancestry. I don't have a drop of Armenian blood in me, as far as I know, and I still wish to promote the Armenian culture in any way I can. I consider myself Unofficially Armenian.

It is all spontaneous combat. No choreography whatsoever. See, we use rattan weapons; Rattan, because it's hard like a hardwood and just as strong, but because it's actually a grass, if it does break it will simply snap cleanly, so there are no sharp edges to stab someone with without realizing it. Yes, women fight just as much as the men. I've had the pleasure of fighting alongside women who can kick more arse than some men can! Women don't always fight, though. Often times, they can be combat archers (padded tip arrows), or they make clothing, chainmail, etc. There's really no limit to what you can do in the SCA. Here, take a look at this. This is a video of the Pennsic Wars, the single largest event in the entire SCA. Note: This battle is completely spontaneous. No choreography. We just run at each other and LAY ON!
