This is really great... I came to be friends with an Armenian family, Sako and Varti, going to Armenia in 2003 to get married. I spent over 2 months in Brazil 20 years ago and there is a good chance will visit the country within the next few months, if I don't go to Afghanistan.

Dear Friends; As we are saying farewell to year 2006, let us take few minutes and think of our villages in Armenia. Five years of research and continuous travel to Armenia indicates that our villages are in the verge of disappearing due to; high poverty (48.1 percent living under extreme poverty), high unemployment (85 percent), lack of running water, transportation,poor road condition and the list goes on and on.
