Bon soir, I'm a very big Aznavour fan. I think he is the archtype of what all armenians should be, fighting for our cause, tooth and nail....I believe that he represents the soul of the armenian diaspora and its dedication to preserve itself from all the outside foreigner threats, turkish propaganda, assimilation. he exemplifies the love of Armenia, the culture, and ABOVE all, the language and th culture, the armenian alphabet, innovatateed by Meshrop Meshtots, our language which is on of the original indo-european languages, like greek and sanskit, for exemple. So my question is simple; I hav bought greatest hits cd and now I am looking for song by Aznavour exemplifying us the diaspora....so, song by Aznavour in Armenian. Where are they and can anyone help m find some and tell me where I can buy some. Everytime I ask here in Brussels, the International music store owner points me to his french cds right next to Nana Mouskouri greatest hits... Please help me Vahe

Yes, he will always be a great person, an ideal thta very hye should strive for. Merci Anahit; I sense you regret some of the statements you made to this grec Tigranis. Maybe we should stop going back to ancient times to find every nation which has wronged us. Maybe it was our fate or destiny, being at the crossroads of great empires-civilisations: Persia, The Achians, Greeks, Arabs, Byzantines, Seldjouks and Ottomans. Néanmoins, i.e nevertheless, c'est l'histoire. I sense you believe you make a mistake with some of the statements that you made...also, they are forever here for as long as this site exists; for a nouveau hye like me to find... Anahit, don't feel so bad, there must be greek message board with simular statements about us...OR...maybe not...I do not believe they are so preoccupied with these issues. Hello Everyone, I am new to this site. I Noticed it because I am armenien from Belgium and I collect coins. I wanted to buy a Tigran coin. I noticed that coin of our greatest ruler have greek inscriptions on them because the meshropian alphabet wasn't invented yet so i googled the greek appelation tigranis: and I got this site. I live in Brussels and work with greeks in shipping etc., as a shipping broker. This grec which is here sounds greek. I find it disappointing and shameful just like 15level, the treatment we give him. Yes he has procoke us...or maybe he made us face our worst demons: ourselves. I am new here and fell on the site by accident, but I am very ashamed. Having studied the classics at the lyceum level here, most europeans with culture would agree with Mr. Tigranis. However, I noticed that he has never said that armenians are turks or that they suck etc.... What is surprising is that, right now, Turkey is being blocked entry in the European Union by the GRECS...we can say all we want about them and they're arrogance but facts speak for themselves: i find they are more successful in moving their agenda forward, at least from what it seems here in the benelux area... Its sad to see us attacking an ally... I'm sad to see there are armenians that hate people so much and are like this.... louis pari
