Turkish Web-site: “baku Will Attack Armenia In A Few Days”
dutchy replied to Hayastanci's topic in Republic of Armenia
I'm Dutch, but I like Turkish and Armenian people. Here I have good relations with Turks and Armenians. I don't know Azeri people, I only read on the internet or see illegal workers here in Holland. But I'm very concearned about the disputes over Karabach. Now I have read that Turkey has bought SLAM-ER cruise missiles with 250km range it only gets more interesting for me. What for weapon shound Armenia buy? But why you are asking for my decency? Do I speak like a Turk? Yes you are right, if we both say yes than we don't have anything to speak. And if we have differences in opinion than we can learn from each other. Who is telling that you people are bad? So, we are also interested in other cultures and politics. But the Armenians don't have one thing that we have: Capability to drink a lot of beer -

Yes it is true that the 'Wiki-thing' has many political influences. But try to see through of that propaganda or something. I don't underestimate an army, never forget it that I have written this okay? Me, as an ex-soldier, I have learn to see your enemy, if also he/she is one person or not, you with your whole army, never to underestimate it and it is the strongest army. Because 1 man also can kill 10 maybe more like 100 people when in ambush defense. Booby trap or road side bomb for example. Or like muslim high tech weapon: suicide bomb elite commando technology shit that can explode when a man has a bourqa and kills many of your friends. To loose you need a dumb army. I would like to share it with you or other members. I think that the existance of such forums are to discuss not? Come on, let's talk about is, maybe I can learn from you and/or you can learn something from me. First I want to tell you something: I have learnt some things from Turkish people here in Holland, so I can also learn from Armenian friends for sure. (not political) -

Good to know for me... But I also saw a picture in Karabach with a T-72 tank captured by you guys without shooting a single bullet. Now it is a place to visit. But also the Azeri's are armed too with Turkish supplied weapons of Russian origin. Is it right to tell that both sides have now the same armor and guns? That the situation now is balanced? Before the war, I had never heard about the Caucassus countries, I didn't know about the excistance of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Please make your answer not so difficult for me. But I have studied guns and armor from the both sides now, what weapons there are used, military training, etc.. -

I understand your angry about them but the Azeri's talk in the same way about Armenians. But why they are fools and Armenians not? You have lived together in the Soviet repuplic and get the same shit from the Russians. -

I don't think that Turkey will send troops. Only diplomatic help and the EU will help Armenia also in diplomacy. But it is a much talked situation, every forum has a place for the Karabach problem. I agree with it only there is no politics in it. I see some people here also mention like 'A lot of idiots' the idiots we tought have now some nuclear warhead and their own arms factory. (Pakistan) -
Here in Holland, mostly all Dutch people is from Armenian side. Nobody cares about both countries that's true. But the oil rigs are good for us. Now we pay € 1,43 for each liter Euro 95 in Esso pump station. Before the Iraq war it was € 1,10 per liter. When the Baku Ceyhan will be active, then we hope that it waill reduce maybe 10 or 15 cent per liter. The Azeri oil production is about 1 million drums per day. After rebuilding the oil rigs, than the Azeri's will have more efficient oil production and may it will grow for 1,5 million drums per day. And if Armenia becomes friends with Azerbaijan, then Armenia will get cheap oil too and the Turkish isolation will be raised. I think that, it is my opinion. About the Azeri military, we all know nothing about it. It is kept secret.

It's not that wikipedia, in political way you are right. Wikipedia has political influences. But in military terms it has good writers. The war what happened, let them go. The thruth is also not in forums but by the scientists. But if you look to some writers, this time Armenian writers tell this, I can believe it. When it was Turkish, I will say 'yeah right'. Because every citizen said their armies are the best. Like US, nobody can strike us till 11 sept 2001. Now there are movies with terrorist attacks in the us, yes it is now realizeable that every country can be attacked. Armenians with shotguns, pfeeeuw... Never heard about that. You guys were armed to your teeth with Avtomat guns and ammo. Some with rockets too. The Azeri's weren't able to do anything at all. Here in a forum, you are free to write everything what you want without any painful words ofcource. Let's talk about it. Why you think it is all crap? Don't you believe the Turks have trained the whole Azeri army plus supplying them with weapons from the East German army stocks that was delivered to Turkey in 1990? Tell everything, it is good for us to talk about it. -

You look at this: http://www.panarmenian.net/library/eng/?nid=105 The Azeri will also has good air defense installations like about 100 pieces of SA-2 (S-75), SA-3 (S-125) and SA-5 (S-200). And 40 vehicles of mobile short range SAM systems of SA-4, SA-8 and SA-13. I have a *.doc file from Emin Nabiyev, Eastern Illinois University. The document named "NATO Expansion and Azerbaijan: Evaluating the Potential of the Caucasus State". (document is from 2004) Also Sergey Minasyan and Grigor Hakobyan are telling that Azeri armed forces are getting military training with NATO/Western standards by Turkey and USA. Azeri armed forces have also more money than it's Armenian rival. $650m vs. $172m from Armenian Armed Forces. The Turkish country is supplying Azerbaijan with the military budget what Armenia have. Azerbaijan is also buying more aircraft and artillery. It is not shure but I had read something that the Kazachs delivered 10 SU-27 Flankers to the Azeri Air Forces. The S-300 missiles.... Well I see that not much people knows what they can do. The S-300 (NATO designation SA-10 Grumble, the S-300PMU SA-12) is a very good design in the early 1980's. It has a range of 160km and is a direct replacement for the S-200 (SA-5 Gammon). The S-300 is intended to destroy SSBM and large bombers from a far distance before it can fire its cruise missiles. It is a radar guided hommig missile with great accuracy. It is known that the missile will never decoyed. Only when the radar is jammed and Azerbaijan does not have planes with jammers on board. The S-300 can also attack jets ofcouse, it is able to attack mutiple targets at ounce. Let's say 3 x S-300 = 3x4=12 missiles. 12 targets at a time. The S-200 what the Azeri's propose can intercept the 32x SS-1 SCUD-B rockets. The S-200 has a range of 250km estimated and can intercept the SCUD-B with it's range of 300km. The S-200/SA-5 is also a fixed installation and the S-300 is rather mobile. By the way, the situation is balanced and both sides will loose everything or lose nothing. The Azeri's have more equipment and better training, and Armenia has the Russians for protecting them. -

Read this article, it is not from official press therefore not adopted here. http://www.panarmenian.net/library/eng/?nid=105 Also this... Armenian Army: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_Armenia Azeri Army: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_of_Azerbaijan It is clear that the Azeri army has put more money to their security forces. I have met them in München too, when in training excercises. They are very good I saw them in some training. If you read the text from Sergey Minasyan and Grigor Hakobyan, then it is metal to the bone I think. I saw the other Armenian army video's with music. You guys have also old equipment in the video. But I don't agree with the final section of the text in 'PANArmenian news' of the air defense systems. Because of the US army training standard of the Azeri pilots and the Turkish army's land forces standard. But who knows when the war breaks out? I hope for a diplomatic solution to please both sides. War is not nice.
