So, what is this Karma thing I am talking about.
I can't take credit for it though. I am a member of another forum / fishing & HUnting and they do this all the time, so I made a copy of it
Hopefully it will catch on and people here on this site will learn to appreciate what it offers all of us.
So, what is it?
Well, the idea is that I will post here that I have a free item or a service to give away.
If you are interested in the item, post "please add me into this karma" and that's it.
I will pick a person at random and then ship the item to the winner of the karma.
For this karma, I can offer Hyeforum Email account & Coffee Mug to one member
Not worth a lot of money but it's simply a nice gesture.
Again, hopefully some of you will take on to this and we can have lots of "Karma's" on this web site.
On a side note, if other of you are going to be doing this as well, to pick a completely random number, I will be using Excel. With each post, there is a corresponding post number. we will load all of those numbers into Excel and use a command to pick a number at random. As a result, only one post per person per karma. Don't post several times to increase your chances at winning the Karma. We will make sure that everyone has the same chance of winning the karma as everyone else but it will be easier to sift through the all post if everyone only post once. So, good luck and think about things you can give away to members of HF!!!
it can be a E-card - poem - a new picture for Avatar - no need to ship or have items shipped, if the members don't wish to participate for reviling personal info, or address' no problem, lets use thinks that we don't need to ship
