MOvses, I keep meaning to ring you for the past couple of days, but life keeps getting in my way! I will check the books, but it takes forever for me to work out the translation of the titles for the songs! Hello everyone, I am in a quest to find the lyrics for a number of traditional Armenian melodies, and am wondering if anyone knows of a source for "Hovern Enkan"? I have only duduks doing the melody and would appreciate any help for finding words. Thank you for any help, and I hope everyone is well. Sheram

Thank you both, I did google the song name but all I got a huge number of pages with very ugly, politically based rants (on both sides) over who stole what from whom... All I was after was the Armenian lyrics to a very beautiful melody that as Mosojan points out, has been in the larger region for quite some time (or at least long enough to touch all of their different hearts)! Barev everyone, Well, as the topic says I am trying to find an Armenian source with lyrics for the melody "Sari Gyalin". I actually played this a long while ago in a traditional ensemble, but it turns out that I never recorded us at that time doing it with the singer! Fast-foreward to the present, and now I am trying to teach my current group this melody and to my surprise I don't have any lyrics or singing sources for the singer (and she is the one who wanted to do the song in the first place!...:-) Does anyone out there have the lyrics to this (or even a traditional source)? If so it would be greatly appreciated. I hope this finds everyone well, Sheramjian
