The question of West vs. East is fabricated by our enemies, They almost had success dividing Armenians by relocation and years of injustice. I disagree with you on several key points, 1- Armenians need structure it's required, We migrate to distant lands and build a few churches, club houses, businesses ... To keep one's heritage it's mandatory to do so. 2- I'm not a member of any political group, An Armenian who vehemently supports all vaild points or supporting a united cause, Ideal Armenian should be open minded and respect every member of our group, Armenianism above all political motivations... When I first arrived to Los Angeles my very first day in school, I was attacked by hispanic students for being Armenian, Why ? The reason why five guys came to my rescue and fought like lions and saved me from getting seriously hurt, was a shock to me, They spoke funny Armenian "aper Hye es" I replied ayo ... "Vonxes ?" What !? "asa mi pan aper" I was out cold... to keep it short I can only care about my people understand it, and drop the ***** it's insulting to us Armenagans ! All three political parties started in Armenia... If I'm wrong please correct me, Tashnags can qualify as DeFacto Goverment of Armenia in legal terms or Goverment in Exile. No longer applicable ofcourse but they had no foreign or domestic support or should I say lack of it during their short lived goverment, another lesson from history never to repeat... Tashnags were not alone... They had help from all Armenians including Hnchaks & Ramgavars. They all took part in self defense , fact . Lebanese Armenians were shielded from dangers is due to unity factor and they all collectively squashed any & all threats, We all had casualties ofcourse I lost two cousins during the civil war in 77 & 79, One was Hnchaks a town outside of BH called Hajean and the other Tashnag a town called El Nabah bordering Arakatz which was used as a buffer zone by Armenians. My older brother was kidnaped by christian arabs called ketayyibbs or el ahrar can't really recall their name... irony is their leader was half Armenian ! S K S I remember a Tashnag leader by Khachig Arabian rescued my brother and I'm truly greatful for him a true hero, He negotiated my brothers freedom, sadly he died sometime ago I heard. Bourge Hammond Armenians are Tashnags in majority and almost all surrounding Armenians lived in fear but were supported by Tashnags, That helped a great deal, Our suvival required it and all deserve credit for it. Without adding insult to injury... The Armenian Church gets no credit for keeping the unity, ARF, Hnchak or Ramgavar all served a nation in exile. Job Well Done to All !! It's not just AG... It's payback for me, I can honestly say i wish for the distruction of Turkey. You fail to see the bigger picture. Turkey has no friends anywhere in the Middle east or europe. United States will drop you like yesterdays news after you get sucked into their vortex of deseption, After all President Woodrow Willson recognised independent Armenia and her borders in 1918. USSR and Att-KAKA munipliated the situation in order to benefit from Armenia's hardships.
