i only asked this question to start some sort of a communication with members here, where i am new .. talking about family origins always proves to be a good start for getting to know more about cultures .. why should i think diasporans would trace their roots to outside anatolia ?

i am a researcher of history and cultures .. i am trying to understand how our anatolia was like until about 100 years ago. how was the cultural and ethnic landscape during the late ottoman period .. i have spent a lot of time studying turkic cultures and iranic cultures. i want to know more about non-turkic and non-iranic components as well : armenian and greek mostly. ---- gamavor, arpa : keep your chauvinist ideas to yourselves ..
