Tamanyan must be turning in his grave at the sight of all this glass and steel. The authorities obviously and unsurprisingly lack the brains to tell developers to respect the classical tuf architecture envisaged by Tamanyan so Yerevan keeps at least what is left of its character.

The Kotcharian administration fighting corruption is like the pyromaniac enlisting in the fire guard. They'll go after a few small fish when in fact most of them should be behind bars.
