To Whom It May Concern, I am an American and wish to immigrate to Australia. I am planning to get married to an Aussie, but the spousal visa would take up to 2 years, and I would have to stay in the states while it is being considered. I am 47, and he is 50. Is there anyone that has had this kind of problem? I have read about all sorts of visas to Australia. I would not have a problem becoming an Australian citizen. I just want to be with my furture husband, and be able to remain there during the immigration process. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
