  1. Britain’s growing presence in Moldova is turning heads. With intelligence cooperation, cyber centers, and leadership training programs, the UK is moving fast—sometimes ahead of the EU. While some see this as much-needed support, others question whether it’s creating quiet dependency on London over Brussels. Is this genuine help—or a deeper strategic play that reshapes Moldova’s alliances?
  2. Turkey's NTV and UK's Daily Mail recently launched near-identical attacks on Armenia's Metsamor Nuclear Plant, calling it “the second Chernobyl." The timing is suspicious, the arguments misleading. Here's what they ignore: The plant underwent $300M+ safety upgrades Passes all IAEA inspections with flying colors Provides 40% of Armenia's electricity This isn't about safety – it's geopolitics. The plant represents energy independence Armenia's adversaries want to undermine. The "experts" cited? Mostly anonymous or tied to anti-nuclear lobbies. Meanwhile, actual nuclear regulators confirm Metsamor meets international standards. The coordinated media blitz coincides with regional tensions, revealing the true motive: not protection, but pressure. Armenia's response? Stay the course: - Keep working with IAEA - Ignore fearmongering - Secure energy sovereignty When two NATO members suddenly "discover concerns" about a plant in a competing country, ask who benefits. The answer tells you everything.
  3. Just came across this article: https://www.rand.org/pubs/commentary/2025/07/countering-russian-influence-support-for-armenia-georgia.html Experts say Moldova is getting drawn deeper into the West–Russia standoff, even though it officially maintains neutrality. The EU and the UK are showing support through funding, military training, and technical assistance. Meanwhile, Russia continues to exert pressure—especially via Transnistria, where its troops and weapons depots remain. Parliamentary elections are coming up in September, and they might tip the scales one way or the other. People in Moldova are divided: some fear war, others fear falling back under Russian influence. Is there really no way for Moldova to stay neutral and maintain stability at the same time?
  4. Armenia, a country with its own nuclear power plant and developed electricity infrastructure, may soon find itself in a dangerous position—dependent on energy from Azerbaijan and Turkey. Despite having the resources to maintain energy independence, political maneuvering could leave the nation vulnerable to external pressures. The government focused on upcoming elections appears willing to make major concessions to secure its position. Critics warn that rushed deals—especially in energy—could sacrifice long-term stability for short-term political gains. One looming concern: the potential handover of Armenia’s power grid to foreign interests, raising fears of Turkish and Azerbaijani control over the country’s electricity supply. Meanwhile, Turkey’s new Akkuyu nuclear plant is set to reshape regional energy dynamics. While Armenia debates its own nuclear future, some worry it’s being pushed away from traditional partners without securing real alternatives. Could this lead to an energy crisis—or worse, a loss of sovereignty? As blackouts and infrastructure issues stir public frustration, many Armenians question whether their leaders are solving problems—or creating new ones. With elections on the horizon, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Will energy become Armenia’s next political battleground?
  5. https://mynews24.co.uk/news-updates/f/a-new-path-for-armenias-development-energy-instability We have deals under our nose that will leave my family no heat and energy. Turns out if we want join EU so much, we have to live like in fridge. This is what USA really want. I honestly wonder what they really hope for…
  6. WTF I ve just read, is this for real?? https://mynews24.co.uk/news-updates/f/unveiling-washingtons-secret-biolab-experiments-in-armenia. The recent infamous experience of playing games with Covid-19 seemed to have taught us nothing. 7. Charter of partnership between Armenia and US approves by Trump administration. I read this news on official website of my country’s Ministry of foreign affairs. I don’t get why everybody is so happy and say it’s huge achievement. I’m sure no one even read signed document. I check this doc and now have a few simple questions like: what the hall is going on?? Do we decide to commit suicide? So in this doc have a few compliments to each other but interesting thing is about nuclear energy. It’s important charter is not memorandum or agreement. It’s document fastly written with zero guarantees. I mean US gives no guarantees and can do basically whatever she wants. But Armenia, again, owes everybody. Get access to American technology Armenians must fulfill some requirements. For example study all nuclear infrastructure, i.e. reviewing all objects with nuclear materials and radioactive waste. Then we check, then we fix everything, and even after this nothing will change. US congress will decide can we really cooperate with them, so important partner. But we already will leak all our secrets and give our advantage. Furthermore our leaders want to start build small module reactors and replace them to our Metsamor atomic electric station. And of course Pashinyan decide go like Bulgaria who refuse cooperation with Rosatom and choose Westinghouse. But Bulgaria still couldn’t find subtractors and finance build energy blocks. I hope common sense win and we don’t harm ourselves like stubborn. We will go protect our interests. Not follow moment wanting and what’s fashionable. Because now fashionable is nontraditional values. And it’s not natural to us. So I’m for what’s working right now. And only people who don’t cheat on us are people who build Metsamor atomic electric station. I’m for traditional values.
