Thats my point, love is universal. Even though the people who will understand you immediately are going to be Armenian, it is possible to be in a loving relationship with anyone when you are both open minded and willing to accept each others culture and traditions. I know people who have serious problems between marriages of a western and eastern armenian. Marrigae is not about being Armenian anyway, its about being able to live comfortably and lovingly with another person. For me if the person is Armenian, it is a bonus.

How can you be 'conditioned' by anyone to be attracted to one type of person? My parents also have wanted me to only be with Armenians but as I have grown up with all different cultures around me, I can see that it is impossible to decide who you will be attracted to. Precisely my point about living in a bubble.

Well, let me think...nice skin, nice teeth, nice lips, masculinity and the list goes on. Armenians seem to have something against everyone. Perhaps if most of them didnt grow up in a bubble they would realise that amongst every kind of people there is the good and the bad. We are not excluded from this group of people. People are people and it is possible for any one person to be attracted to another whether they are Armenian or not.
