  1. you guys, I've seen the movie and I thought it was pretty good. The last part is kind of sad, but there is also some humor involved. I say you guys should go watch it. OH ya, DO NOT take children with you. There is a lot of cussing and there is also a sex scene, so, keep them away!!!!
  2. I personally don't want the Arc to be found. I like it the way it is today. People wondering about if it's really there or not keeps the excitement of the new generations going. If they find it, the turks and the Americans will make it a tourist attraction and will abuse our mountain just to make money
  3. well, Ara Hakobyan of Banants http://www.uefa.com/ImagesContent/Competition/Clubs/Logos/70X70/77866.gif alone has scored 45, so, if we add the others, I think Henry SUCKS!!!! got ya, didn't I I 'm just playing Gurgen jan, I like Henry too. but the poor guy never wins anything with Arsenal except english titles or cups
  4. MARTIN BERBERYAN A EUROPE CHAMPION European Championship of free-style wrestling in Istanbul ended. 5 Armenian wrestlers partook in it. Martin Berberyan /55 kg/ won the 1st place and became Europe champion. When Martin stood on the 1st stage, the national hymn of Armenia was to sound and our tricolor was to be raised. But carelessness occurred. The hymn of the Soviet Armenia was sounding and flag of the Soviet Armenia was hoisted. It’s not clear why it happened. But it is beyond controversy that the international tournaments in Turkey are distinguished by poor quality of organizing. http://www.a1plus.am/eng/?go=issue&id=17150 You guys, I also heard about this on the Armenian news on T.V. A1+ seems to think that the reason of the turks lifting the soviet Armenian flag and playing the soviet hymn is due to poor quality of organizing of international tournaments in turkey. Hmm.. I think otherwise. I think the turks intentionally did this.
  5. ya well, gunner or not, I still like these teams better http://www.uefa.com/ImagesContent/Competition/Clubs/Logos/70X70/77866.gif http://www.uefa.com/ImagesContent/Competition/Clubs/Logos/70X70/77431.gif http://www.uefa.com/ImagesContent/Competition/Clubs/Logos/70X70/75044.gif http://www.uefa.com/ImagesContent/Competition/Clubs/Logos/70X70/60603.gif http://www.uefa.com/ImagesContent/Competition/Clubs/Logos/70X70/59877.gif
  6. This whole thing reminds me of Tigran mets and his son who betrayed him in order to get the throne instead of his older brother

  8. Man, I hope Ararat could win something this year, although I don't have my hopes high because all kinds of crap is going on inside the club right now. The whole crew left or something like that. Besides, I don't see them stepping up against teams like Pyunik or Mika. Hopefully they'll do good in the 1st division for the upcoming season. Lets see if they can bounce back to the Pemier division.
  9. how come the yezidins arn't included in here?
  10. Do you guys think these are just talks? Or is there anything serious behind it?
  11. The first days of January the first conference on planning of the "Cooperative Best Effort-2004" military maneuvers to be held in Azerbaijan within the framework of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" program will take place in Baku. Representative of the Defense Ministry of Armenia will also take part in the works of the conference. From the fact, how they will be received, will depend if Armenia sends its soldiers to Baku or not. In Baku they are already threatening the Armenian militarists that will take part in the maneuvers. The most active is the "Organization of Artsax Liberation" radical group. Its leader, Akif Nagi said recently that he was preparing actions against the soldiers from Yerevan. "We shall not allow the presence of Armenian soldiers in Baku," he said. The methods to be undertaken by the "liberators of Artsax" are not being disclosed. But, according to him, the “surprise” is going to be impressive. “Naturally, pickets will not be enough. The protests will be demonstrated in some other form,” Nagi says making it understand that actions of terrorist nature are going to be undertaken. “We are not afraid of arrests,” he stresses. “Tomorrow, when those radical measures are fulfilled, the member-countries of the UN Security Council will bear the responsibility for everything taking place,” Akif Nagi said in an interview with Baku journalists. His deputy Barat Imani appeared to be more sincere while speaking about the programs of the organization: “If necessary, we will organize terrorist acts right in Armenia”. Almost the same said the deputy of Milli Mejlis from the “Yeni Azerbaijan” party Asya Manafova: “We are ready even to follow the experience of the Chechen patriots and implement the actions of Shahid women,” she said. It should be noted that the official structures of Azerbaijan and particularly the law-enforcement bodies have not reacted to this announcements. These aggressive calls have not caused any reaction in Brussels. Meanwhile, the maneuvers are being carried out by the North-Atlantic Union and it is the NATO directorate to secure all the guarantees for the Armenian soldiers and officers. Maybe the best way would be to give up the idea of carrying out the maneuvers in Azerbaijan and to organize them in some other country that would be able to create more favorable conditions? http://www.panarmenian.net/details/eng/?task=issue&id=301 you guys, the link opens REALLY slow so bear with it!
  12. So... Most of you guys think that Armenia won't have much of a say if the russians decide to betray us one more time? Well, I think that if Russians do this, it would turn the tables. Russia will lose Armenia and gain Azerbaijan instead. Don't you guys think so? Hmm.. Oil does solve problems I guess!!!!!
  13. The issue whether NATO mobile military bases will be launched in Azerbaijan or Baku will agree to the Moscow proposal to give up those plans in exchange for the pledge to return two or three `seized` regions will be decided within January, an informed source in the defense ministry of Azerbaijan told `Echo` newspaper. Meanwhile, an officer of one of the military detachments situated in Apsheron told the newspaper the other day that US `F` warplanes are already in the territory of the military airdrome in Nasosny settlement. Besides, `Garaeybat` military ground in the Garadagh region has been encircled for some time. `Via binoculars we have seen US lorries, which were delivering military materiel and equipment. It was seen that something was being built on the ground,` he said. The informed source supposed that it were the Turkish military who recommended their NATO partners to use that ground to fulfill various military tasks. As of the airdrome in Nasosny, it will most probably become a place to locate the NATO mobile troops, the source noted. Certain arrangements for placing foreign troops in Azerbaijan are already being held, he stated. At that the source in the defense ministry of Azerbaijan reported that for the first quarter of 2004 some advancement in the Artsax issue will begin to show. `From conversations at a serious level` he became informed that Moscow promises support to Azerbaijan in liberating a few of the `seized` regions via peaceful means, in exchange for which Azerbaijan will have to lay aside the issue of placing NATO mobile bases in its territory. Considerable work is being done in this respect now, the source emphasized. In his words, already in January a meeting of presidents Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin can be held, after which very serious changes in the Artsax issue will be observed.` According to the information possessed by the source, `Russia is ready to suggest Fizuli, Gubadly and maybe other lots of the adjacent territory - some three regions are at stake` as compensation to Azerbaijan. http://news.artsakhworld.com/ArCNews/Eng/i...over=1&id=14527 you guys, pay attention to that bolded part. The russians are promising Azerbaijan to give them three of OUR LIBERATED provinces. Hmm.... WHY? Did the russians fight for those in the first place? For all I know, the only thing the russians did for us was that they gave us weapons and as far as I know, WE PAYED FOR THEM. If this is true, what right do the russians have to decide our future? What right do they have to "GIVE" our territories to them? Do you guys know if Armenians are going to allow this?
  14. Vigil, NICELY SAID. Good JOB!!!!! Let me give you guys an example of this: Present day Azerbaijan --- we all know that azerbaijanis are a turkish race. THEY ARE TURKS, but, NOW, they claim that they are the descendants of Caucasus Albanians (Afghank). They say that ALL the churches in present day Artsax are NOT ARMENIAN and are ALBANIAN. This is their claim towards Artsax. ---They say that since THEY are descendants of Albanians, and Artsax "is Albanian", THUS----> they have a claim for Artsax---. (All this was told to me by an Azerbaijani person whom I was chatting with couple days ago) They even argue that Albania was THE FIRST CHRISTIAN NATION. Can you guys belive this????? Well, it's obvious that IF the turks eventually DO get what they want (which is to eliminate all Armenians), some day in the future they are going to tell the world that Armenians ARE THEIR ANCESTORS.
