  1. of course... but... You have to say, I AM AMERICAN. Saying I AM ARMENIAN, really is bad for reputation, especially when some act like "Gangsters". It is really horrible, how some Mexicans make fun of me because of how I am Armenian, I say I am different from the ones they know, but still, I get picked on. Believe me, people say I am funny, and they say I am cool, but, since other Armenians act up, I get made fun of.
  2. Yeah it was good. Armenia is improving, but, damn, I wish that there could be a president for us that will secure foreign investment... or else...Armenia is going to stay like this...
  3. Shahumyan. Lol. I know what you are saying. Armenia would not exist if the Dashnaks had their way, I believe they would have rather surrendered to the Turkish forces rather than become Communist. Not realising that the Red Army was just around to corner, ready to help.
  4. Does not matter. Armenians have been crap in the USSR during the Stalin years. And in the years after, Armenia was the "Silicon Valley of the USSR" Chechens are not going to do anything, Chechens would have been erased if the UN did not stop Russia. Russia was going to Bio Bomb the Chechens on order of Yeltsin, but was stopped. Gay laws.
  5. CNN, BBC, etc... They are all the same news that says what the government wants it to say... and Al Jazeera, that is just a bunch of crap from the middle east. There is no more good news, Good News is gone.
  6. lol no. All evidence points to a common crook... Plus, most Turks were Armenian friends, and Turkey was nothing without Armenians. Do you think a Turk would say, EY! Let me go kill my best friend! Of course not, Turks rely on alliances more than most people in the world... So........
  7. Let that site stay up. Does it really matter what they say? I know a lot of Turks, and they say, Haik, Let us just be friends. These Turks just believe something else, and it is bad, however, the internet is a PUBLIC DOMAIN. Which means, they can do whatever they want, as can we.
  8. Yes. But, it is bad for an American athlete, like Agassi, to say he is Armenian. It may not seem like it can do a lot of damage, but it does. It is better for us to support him in his carreer, and know that he is Armenian, rather than have him say it. Believe me...it is bad for business.
  9. Alright you caught me Lol. You are good, Armat. MosJan, Well that was in brief. Because he is going to sleep. Good night Armo! Have a great nights sleep.
  10. No I have not read that... But it is on my to read list... I read that 40 Days of Musa Dagh. and Forgotten Fire... and the other ones...ill find right now...
  11. Yes! 3500 years and still going strong! :) Plus, there have been many great Armenians. Just not ones anyone knows.
  12. Geragos doesnt say, " I am Armenian" Which is what you have to do to make it in the States. And like Karl Marx once said, "Every people have given to modern science, besides the Turks" However...they do have a great cuisine, and a beautiful geographic position, which is undeniable.
  13. Why do I need to be corrected? On what exactly.
  14. On my last visit to Armenia, I met many famous painters, whos art, to me, seemed much more complex and creative than any european art. And I wondered to myself, why this is not being sold for a high price. It is a shame that Armenian art is in the hands of Armenians and in Armenia. And not that much gets recognized. I hope it will all change soon!
  15. And? I made a mistake there. His parents were immigrants, and for someone from an unknown people to become a great American Novelist, that is a great accomplisment.
  16. That is just it! I just took a while to read several books about AG. And it all seemed clear, not only that, but i read history books on the subject. I have just come out of reading. And want to discuss it with Armenians. But it seems you yourselves are learning half the truth.
  17. What is hogwash? You do not believe in such things?
  18. That is a strong point. For an immigrant to make a name of himself in a foreign country. Is that not? Or are you stuck on something? Hangstatsi. Vor Sirtht vat ah, petk chi grves.
  19. For the last time! You must be the most bias Armenians I have met! I am Armenian! And that is the wrong lesson to be learned from AG. I spent time with Americans who care more about the AG than you guys, but only because of its real meaning. And yes I am 15. I have educated myself, I have even went to a university to ask one of the professors his opinion. I do not understand why I am getting picked on.
  20. Yes. And don't you know that my ancestors were in it too? Again, would you not want to get the real criminal?
  21. Hey. There is a first for everything, and I am not bashing, I want to bring up strong points.
  22. of course not. but as a discussion board there should be discussion. are you not happy with my thinking? it is not a narrow way... I want to tell you that we better shape up, because what the AG was supposed to teach us, is not being thaught!
  23. That it is still a fairly new theory. And that no conclusion should be jumped to.
  24. Hey... I know Armenians are unique... What do you think I was saying in my earlier post?
  25. As am I! Do I have no right to judge my own people?
