gamavor,,,,,,,,just a question......why would americans who don't live in armenia call aremenia troops their troops...aremenians that live in america live under the protection of american troops...

Accelerated,,,i understand that you are from down under and you don't understand the true meaning of our troops..but this is a little insight from my view....We have men and women from all over the united states defending those who want freedom from hard times and just overall dictatorship...well as i see..we are the first, that people call on for help everytime something gets out of hand...and yes we are the first for peace...but, we are also the first to jump in and help out whenever needed...and with that being said you can play all your games in the world..but until you put on a uniform you should judge other for something that they are trained to do and trained with pride.

By me putting that little statement on the end of my post is for me. I am not asking for anyone to support anything that I may support. But I am proud of my husband and thousand of men and women who provide me (and the rest of America) with the freedom that I have today. I don't care that you play games where you blow things up. I guess I don't know much about marriage, I've only been married for 4 years. Boy Very long four years. lol. We have had our ups and downs. But at the end of the day when we are sitting talking about our day I know I have a best friend who will always be there for me. I am a school teacher and there were times that I wanted to quit but my husband wonld let me. To me that is important. When I am feeling down, he is always there to pick me up. I could tell him that I want to join NASA (which will never happen) but I know he will support me. And the same goes for me. I will support my husband no matter what. Hello Everyone!!! I am new to this site. It is nice to read all the post. My name is Marina, and I am married to an American. I feel like I had to reply to this post. I have been married for 4 years and togetherfor 5years. During that time my husband has studied eveything about Armenians, the food ( which he loves) the language (which he speaks) and the culter. He is deployed to Iraq at the moment and everytime he calls me he speaks Armenian. He tells everyone he meets that he is Armenian. He loves me for who I am, he has never asked me to change. To tell you all the truth I live my life for me. My parents are proud of Ken and I. Also my sister is marrying a Marine (also American) he loves the fact that she is Armenian. I don't think I am any less of an Armenian by marrying an American, I belive that because of me an American knows more about Armenian, and knows what the Turks did to us years and years ago (also hates turks ). Well I guess thats it for now. Oh on the subject of children, we don't have any at the moment but WE already decided that our children will learn both languages. And will be Armenians. I think its cool when I see anything about Armenia or Armenian in anything. Today I got my Army Times Paper and in it was a small artical about Armenia. I got to call my mom and tell her! It didn't say much just how its really unlikely that troops will be deploying over there and some other stuff. Its still cool to read about Armenia in the paper. Hi everyone. I think I am late replying to this post, but I felt like I had to reply. I am 25 years old. And yes I do smoke, I have been for years. My husband doesn't smoke. And because he doesn't smoke , I never smoke in the house or in the car. I smoked before I meet him, so he knew about it before we got married. When I became 18 I told my mom and dad. I know ALOT of armenian women, both here and in other countries(inluding Armenia) that smoke. if you don't like smoke or smoking thats fine, people make their own choices. I don't want anyone to take offense to my reply. Thanks Marina

My name is Marina, I live in Wa. We just moved here about a year ago( we, in my husband and I) My husband is in the Army and we got orders to Ft. Lewis. I haven't met any Armenians here yet. So I am very happy to have found this web site. I am an Armenian who was born in Lebanon. I am married to an American( well Irish). My family never had a problem wuth us. But I am so suprised and a little hurt that so many Armenians are against Armenians marring out of our race. I love my husband. Being married to him dosen't make me any less of an Armenian.
