No way in hell were fans shouting a distraction. First of all, from my experience... when you are in the ring you dont hear any of the fans. You are focused on the fight. The only voice i hear when i am fighting is my trainers voice. Thats pretty much it. Its simple really... the guy lost. Big deal. Its just a sport. So many people got pissed off. but you cant win every fight. like they say.... "you win some, you lose some." Get over it everyone.

I went to the fights. It was pretty dissapointing but oh well. The turkish fighter was more experienced. Also, I heard that Arshak had broken his hand in the first round, but he still continued. That's why I guess for most of the fight he was always backing up and not really attacking that much.

Hell yeah dude... Muay Thai rules! Who do you train with? Ive been training in Pasadena at the Sit Yod Tong, USA gym. With Walter "Sleeper" Michalowski!

LOL.... arent "rabiz" guys the ones that wear Adidas pants with nice dress shoes and white socks? and drive around in their parents BMW's blasting their armo music?

Hey what's up guys? Just thought I would post up some pics from my fight Sat night. This was my first Muay Thai fight, and it was awesome! I had so much fun. I fought this guy named Eric from San Luis Obispo. He was pretty good too. But I won by T.K.O. at the end of the 2nd round. We fought with "modified" Muay Thai rules, meaning we can kick legs, body, and head, punch, and also knee kick to the legs and body. No elbows at all and no knee kicks to the head. It was really fun!! My dad was supposed to video tape it but he messed up on the camara. He recorded 15 sec. clips on the memory stick of the ground, and a little bit after the fight. lol... ohh well... here are the pics, enjoy... http://galleries.austrochat.com/album/metalhead/adf.jpg http://galleries.austrochat.com/album/metalhead/adg.jpg http://galleries.austrochat.com/album/metalhead/adh.jpg Thats me with my trainer William Sriyapai The event was held at the new Muay Thai gym in Pasadena, Ca. Its called Pro Training Inc. The owner is a real cool guy. His name is Walter "Sleeper" Michalowski. It was kinda weird when I found out my dad knew him. Haha, Really fun night. Whats up guys... I saw Iron Maiden monday night 8/25 at the Long Beach Arena. Motorhead was the opening band. Now months before the show i was looking forward to seing Motorhead. A lot of people had told me great stuff about them, and the song i have heard from them freakin rule! I dont know what happened at the show... I guess Lemmy is just too old now. They didnt impress me at all. I had high hopes and i was let down. When Lemmy talks to the crowd i cant understand a damn word he says. The drum solo sounded like the guy was banging on some pots and pans or something. His sound was way off. The toms sounded really really shitty. Im glad they only played for 30 mins... Next up was DIO!!!!!!!! They ***ed ROCKED! It was my first time seing DIO and it was awesome! They had a great setlist. All the classics... (Ill post all the setlists at the end). Then after Dio me and my friend were kinda hungry, even though we ate before we went to the show to avoid expensive food n drinks. I got some chili fries that tasted like shit and a sprite for like 8 bucks. LOL! T-Shirts were $35!!! What kinda bullshit is that! I remember shirts were no more then $20 at concerts. Needless to say i didnt buy any merchandise. Now it was time for IRON MAIDEN!!!! This was also my first time seing them. What can i say? Maiden just ***en ruled! Dickinson sure knows how to get the crowd going too. SCREEEEEEAM FOR ME LONG BEACH AREEEEEEEEENNNNAAAAAAA!!!!!! Oh man and i still dont know how they do it but they had FRIGGEN EDDY COME OUT ON STAGE!!! HE WAS HUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEE!!!! I think it was during 'the clansman' All in all it was a great show. Minus the dissapointment of Motorhead. Maybe they just werent feeling good that night. Oh well... DIO and MAIDEN were great! I jsut wish Maiden played 'Sun and Steel' but oh well. Here are the setlists... Motorhead: 1. We are Motorhead 2. No class 3. Shoot you in the back 4. Metropolis 5. Doctor rock 6. RAMONES 7. Sacrifice (with drum solo) 8. Killed by death 9. Ace of spades 10. Overkill Dio: 1. Killing the dragon 2. The last in line 3. Stargazer 4. Stand up and shout (drum solo) 5. Rock and roll 6. I speed at night 7. Dream evil (guitar solo) 8. Rainbow in the dark 9. Holy diver 10. Heaven and hell Iron Maiden: 1. The number of the beast 2. The trooper 3. Die with your boots on 4. Revelations 5. Hallowed be thy name 6. Wildest dreams 7. The wicker man 8. The clansman 9. The clairvoyant 10. Heaven can wait 11. Fear of the dark 12. Iron maiden 13. Two minutes to midnight 14. Run to the hills Whats the next shows that ill be at you ask? Nov. 21 SLAYER!!! in San Diego Nov. 28 SLAYER!!! in Ventura Nov. 29 SLAYER!!! in L.A. Thats F'n right! Slayer is headlining the Jagermeister Tour, me and my buds will be at all 3 shows in So. Cal!!!

Metallica? holy s**t dude... that is worse then saying system of a down is the best. Metallica isnt even a metal band anymore! they are a ***en joke. St. Anger had to be the worst album in metal history! Here is a review of that joke called st. anger, this is taken from my friends website Terminal Frost - Heavy Metal Zine Ah yes, the biggest joke in music today...Metallica. When Load and Re-Load were released, I thought Metallica was at it's absolute lowest. I was wrong. Metallica has reached a new level of disappointment. St. Anger is definitely by far, the worst album Metallica has ever released. The album starts off with a nu metal attempt at Anthrax's "What Doesn't Die", called Frantic. We first got to hear this one at the joke concert during the MTV icon show, where nu metal bands played Metallica's songs. It sucked live, and it sucks in the studio, too. I think the funniest part of this song is where James tries to scream in a "hardcore" voice "frantic tic tock tic tic tic tock". I heard more intelligent lyrics in Korn than that shit! Other highlights of comedy and disappointment on the album are in St. Anger the song. This song opens with a typical nu metal riff, and is quickly followed by the annoying trash can snare drum by Lars, and the "hardcore" double bassing he learned from listening to Slipknot. The song also has James rapping on one part saying "it's rushing out, it's rushing out", whatever that's supposed to mean. And obviously, the song has no solo or anything interesting, just like the rest of the album. This album was also released with four different covers, as a scheme to get hardcore fans to buy all four of them. Another way Metallica cheats their fans, to get rich. And another thing, Kirk has no purpose on this album! There are no solos, so what is the use of a lead guitarist? The bass is almost non-existent and the drums sound like Lars is banging on an empty trash can, and other various pots and pans. Not to mention, this album has the absolute worst production I have ever heard on a modern album. I guess they were trying to achieve a "raw" sound. To sum it all up, if you know anything about metal, or if you have an ounce of musical knowledge, you would agree that this album is a joke, and is without a doubt the WORST album released this year so far, and still will be at the end of the year. Terrible, just plain terrible... I forgive you for thinking so highly of metallica Sasun, you most likely havent heard REAL metal bands yet. and thats ok. you can hit me up on AIM my screen name is ATHECY01 and ill tell you aaaaaaalll about real metal

whats up guys... now i know i might get a lot of s**t from you guys for saying this but what is the big deal about System of a Down? I mean yeah, ok, they are armenian. but there are so many more metal bands that are better. Can you even consider System of a Down metal? I dont mean to talk bad about them because im not. They seem like really cool guys. But i hear a lot of armos tell me system of a down is the best metal band, and im like you dont know S**T about metal. There are so many more bands that write better material. For example Slayer, Death, Iron Maiden, etc... if you wanna know more bands just say so and ill post the rest. Edit: Bad language

well there is Hye Katch Do. but its more like a mixed martial art. My dad is friends with the guy, hes really cool. I think his school is in burbank. But as far as a martial art that originated in Armenia... i have no clue.
