  1. It is important to note that some Turks especially the youth, who are not educated about the Armenian Genocide, are the victims of their own corrupt government who is trying to keep them in the dark- because they don't want to be morally responsible for their atrocious actions – to their own citizens and to the world. This is exactly their intention, and now the government is not only attempting to conceal the truth but to teach counterfactual propaganda to the youth who has been kept in ignorance. This of course doesn’t excuse all of those citizens who are aware and are not doing anything to hold their government responsible. – Very disturbing and again goes to show that the Turkish government will do anything to avoid responsibility for their actions that they are willing to lie to their own citizens… Thus the ignorant Turks are by no means "harmless" -as we all know that ignorance is very dangerous
  2. To Whom It May Concern I would like to let you guys know about an important issue that has come to my attention- as I am sure it would disturb you also… Turkey’s government has currently passed a declaration that it will be teaching the denial of the Armenian Genocide in their schools. This will be taught not only to Turkish students but also the descendants of genocide victims themselves- Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks. Students will be liable for these phony “facts” to the extent that they have to have examinations on this fraudulent information. Beyond the fact that this proves Turkish government’s malevolence and their continuous propaganda to deny their crimes, this is also very dangerous to the identity of future generations of Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians living in Turkey. What you can do: As some of you may know there is a website called Armenian National Committee of America http://www.anca.org/anca/anca_home.asp, all you have to do is fill out a form (it takes 3 minutes) and a fax or an email will be sent to the government representatives – in this case the Secretary of State. Or you can just click on this link and it will take you directly to the form http://capwiz.com/anca/mail/oneclick_compo...alertid=2280041. Also you can pass this information on to other people who might be concerned with this issue. It literally takes three minutes but with our big efforts might have lasting consequences on the Armenian Community Worldwide. We cannot let them win this battle, so let’s pull it together like the Armenians we are.
