We are supposed to conduct negotiations with these humanoids? https://armenpress.am/eng/news/927884.html Estonian citizen barred from entering Baku in airport because of Armenian ethnicity EREVAN, MARCH 28, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani authorities have banned Karine Oganesyan, an ethnic Armenian citizen of Estonia, who serves as a member of the Tallinn city council, from entering the country at the Baku airport. Oganesyan said on Facebook that she departed to Azerbaijan on March 23 to participate in an international conference of teachers Oganesyan had officially received an electronic visa and departed to Baku as part of the Estonian delegation. But, immediately upon arrival in the airport, Azerbaijani authorities noticed the Estonian citizen’s Armenian surname, and barred her from entering the country and sent her back to Estonia after 12 hours of detention in a special zone. Armenia’s Ambassador to Estonia Tigran Mkrtchyan weighed in on the incident, saying: “This conduct once again displays the racist and intolerant nature of Baku authorities. Baku, which is absorbed in anti-Armenian policy, is once again displaying cynical conduct towards European values, values which are so strange for itself. I hope the Estonian side will make conclusions and will adequately react to this deplorable story, and will protect the interests of its citizen. European institutions shouldn’t remain indifferent too, since Estonia is a EU member and Karine Oganesyan is a EU citizen. And generally, if any country is unable to receive all participants and accompanying staff who were invited to international conferences based on various motives, then the appropriateness of organizing similar events in the given country should be seriously revised”.

http://www.tert.am/en/news/2018/03/28/visa-metric/2649177 Russian-Turkish venture to issue Schengen Visas to Armenian citizens A Russian-Turkish company has been authorized to process the visa applications of Armenian citizens travelling to Germany, the Benelux countries, Austria and Sweden. VisaMetric is planning to launch its services on April 3, German Ambassador Matthias Kiesler told a conference in Yerevan. He said that the company has won bids in Armenia and several other countries “which appreciated its many years' experience and quality services”. The diplomat ruled out any personal bias or intervention, adding that the entire selection process was absolutely impartial. Asked to comment on the concerns that Armenia has no diplomatic relations with Turkey, Mr Kiesler said he only knows the organizers initially intended to make the company's services applicable in the Caucasus region and several Asian countries. “Personal data protection is an extremely high value for us, so we can give absolute confidentiality guarantees. The office will be headed by an Armenian representative and have only Armenian employees,” he added. The company will charge an equivalent of US $20 for each visa application.

  7. https://armenpress.am/eng/news/927315/first-smart-crossroad-in-yerevan-rules-out-traffic-jams.html YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS. The Traffic Police of Armenia continues taking measures to ensure smooth traffic. ARMENPRESS reports an innovation has been put into operation in one of the crossroads of Yerevan. The Traffic Police have installed an ultrasound sensor at the crossroad of Etchmiadzin highway and the road to the airport that calculates the traffic flow and regulate the crossroad, as a result of which congestions are avoided. Those devices are a novelty not only in Armenia, but also in the region. The ultrasound sensors are produced in Armenia. Its only a few days the sensors are put into operation, but according to the Police Traffic, positive change is already evident. The ultrasound sensors do not allow congestions on the crossroads. Within a few seconds the device calculates the number of vehicles and changes the colors of the traffic light. This is the first smart crossroad in Armenia. The Traffic Police rule out any congestion here. The Traffic Police are studying other crossroads to install the devices. Soon there will be more smart crossroads without congestions.
  8. There is an Armenian saying that goes: The best way to find a job is to create one. Throughout our history we have never been jobseekers. We were the ones creating the jobs. The Armenian government should simply set fair rules and business conditions and everything will come to its place.

    Ruben Haxverdian

Hakhverdian is really difficult to translate. It kind of did not sound right, but it is a beautiful song. I absolutely refuse to translate to second part -Chakatagir - Destiny. It is too depressing. Happiness Happiness, be by my side, You are not everlasting, You can leave me at any moment, Without a warning fade away, You appear suddenly with a smiley face, Doors open up to you, And people bow down and salute you, You make them forget their sorrows? You will sleep with me today, You will give me heavenly promises, And when I close my eyes, You will leave me and fade away, Happiness, you are tireless prostitute, But I’m just average guy, I cannot keep you for too long, You get bored from me, How can we be friends, There are always new victims beside you, I will not ask you to stay with me, Anyway, you will disappear without a trace.
  12. "Meanwhile, the authorized structures of Armenia are completely unaware of the entry of GMO products into the Armenian market and the activities of companies engaged in the production and sale of genetically modified products" That Armenian politicians are debils is not novelty to me.
  13. I wish they come up with a new album.
  14. This should be stopped before it is too late. If I had power I would have banned not only Monsanto, but all kinds of pesticides in Armenia. Someone lied Armenians that they might be competitive in agro business by using these poisons. It is false and wrong. The only segment in agro business where Armenian farmers can be competitive is organic production. This is the only segment of agriculture where it is profitable to develop produce production. A country with very small percentage of arable lands of its territory should not jeopardize the whole farming sector by using Monsanto like chemicals. It just pissed me off when I saw huge green houses being build in the Araratian valley - some of the most fertile lands in Armenia. Green houses normally are build in areas where land conditions are poor. This is done by some crazy oligarch with no brains. As a side note, Armenia despite limited fertile lands has one of the best fertile soils on the planet for one simple reason. Stones cover large land plots all over the country and once you remove the stones you have real treasure in terms of richness of minerals (due to accumulation of volcanic dust) and quality of the soil. In Armenia you can grow virtually everything, but this requires scientific approach and informed farmers and politicians.

  16. You may disagree, but I'm very suspicious when it comes to America being well-intended towards Armenia and the Armenians. I have every right to be like this given not only past ugly deeds on the part of the American administration, but also recent twists... have a look in here: http://hyeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=2442&hl=bizarre Any Armenian that is not making good money and still prefers to stay in US to me is a complete idiot.
