Boghos
EREVAN, SEPTEMBER 19. ARMINFO. "I will do all in my power for the Turkey-blocked Armenian border to be re-opened," President of the European Commission Romano Prody told a press conference. He expressed extreme concern over the blockade of the Armenian-Turkish border. Responding to a question as to whether the lifting of the blockade can be a precondition for Turkey's admission to the European Union, Prody did not rule out the possibility of numerous preconditions, including this one. He also reminded the journalists on October 6 the European Commission is to prepare a report of Turkey's meeting the Copenhagen standards, and the EU member-countries are to make a decision to start negotiations. Hayq
Either way, it is either cheap iranian products or cheap turkish products that will be flooding into Armenia. And IMHO, Turkish products are better, taking into account they are basically European technology and European owned. BEKO.
