Couple years back I took a cutting from grape, thompson, coming over the fence at Surp Hagop Sacramento. The leaf is not bad. Well, it's growing good here at the Nevada ranch. Deginus gathered a few today. Yes, we like them in brine but we were busy. so tonight they will be on the table.

I'm gona try the Sumac, we have lemon, just to see how it is. I'm still going to plant the Staghorn Sumac.

Yes, indeed it is deliciously yummy and beautiful.

THANK YOU ONJIG FOR SPEAKING ARMENIAN.

I am so glad that we are speaking Armenian. Derev/terev/ leaf.

Խաղողի տերեւ- Grape leaf.

Not dolma, sarma or basturma.

The Arabs call it Waraq Anab, those other dogs call it yaprak.

Sarma(wrap), not dolma (fill/stuff)**

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarma_(food)

Sarma is a dish of grape, cabbage or chard leaves rolled around a filling usually based on minced meat,.

** Dolma and sarma UP THEIR VORIKS. We speak Armenian, not furkish. Or do we ???

See our dolma, sarma and basturma master here;
