President of Armenia Robert Kocharian said at today's governmental session that if the present rate of economic development is preserved, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth can make up 10-12 % by the end of the year. As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the government, the President noted that this prognosis will be realized if "certain forces" do not take any steps to destabilize the domestic political situation. Armenian President named unprecedented the start indices of 2001. Kocharian said this achievements became possible owing to political stability in the country and to the work of the government.
