MosJan Posted March 4, 2002 Report Share Posted March 4, 2002 ARMENIA SECOND IN CIS IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION GROWTH RATE IN JANUARY 2002 04.03.2002 /PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenia became the second in CIS in the industrial production growth rate in January 2002. "Arka" agency reports referring to CIS Statistical Committee that Armenia, where the growth made 7.1%, only yields to Kazakhstan, where the indicator makes 13.2%. The production growth was also registered in Moldova (6.1%), Georgia (5%), Russia (2.2%) and other countries. Decline in industrial production was registered in particular in Azerbaijan (2%).
