Rubo
Man I am hooked on tools, power tools, small, big, you name it and I got a fetish for them. I have been doing house repairs lately since I am still unemployed and every time I go to home depot, I just drool over circular saws, table saws- my fauve, grinders, cutters, man I am almost orgasmic! Somebody take me out of this dam place! I know part of it perhaps is that I can’t afford those babies, so I collect “ how to books “just in case. How about your fetishes lets hear them out. Please don’t tell me I am weird, I already heard that many times.
Azat
Rubo, I have to say I am in the same boat as you. Home Depot is like church for me as it seems like every Sunday I am there. I even help lost people by guiding them to specific aisles where they can find the tools that they are looking for. I know I am a sick man and I need help. We remodeled a kitchen recently on my cousins home with my cousin all by ourselves. It was a blast. We did all the work ourselves with the exception of the granite countertops. I was in heaven. The only other store where my feet get weak is Fry's. I am not sure if you have them in Boston area, but it is like a huge warehouse(HD size) of electronics. Oh ya, one more. I have recently(last 2-3 years) have become a fairly good cook and I enjoy buying pots and pans. Weird I know. Oh and one last one. I love this other store called Beverage Warehouse. it is like heaven for wine lovers.
Sip
http://zr2.cs.ucla.edu/Sip/zr2/id426_bg_image1.jpgMy #1 fetish at the moment ... another one. Of course things like this also completely fascinate me ... I spend countless hours with my mp3 player, digital camera, laptops, gps, pda, PCs, programmable calculators, all the gadets and gizmos in the car, etc etc. By the way, Azat, Pots and Pans? Ahahahahahaah ... SISSY!!! J/k ... I also love cooking but I end up eating everything before the cooking is done And Ruben, I have an air compressor with all sorts of attachments, sawzall, dremel, angle grinder, and a few other power tools that I just love! I am slowly starting to get the "car" version of each of those ... my first will be an air compressor in the car (which will also be used to lock my rear axle off road) ... then will come a welder. I already have the dual batteries which it requires set up in the car! Wooo Hoooo ... I can't wait to get a real job so I can start buying all the stuff I have been dreaming about for so many years!!!!

Rubo
Azat jan I share your cooking passion. When I got married my wife was so impressed by my cuisine (ask ES) that she gave up cooking for most times. If there is any special occasion I can make Thai, Chinese, Italian and Sashimi my favorite - nothing to it just buy good quality tuna, deep red preferable and higher the oil content the better and slice it and serve with wasabi and soy ( I am lucky Boston has the best seafood, you guys should move here) I got a deal with my wife. I do the cooking she does the dishes! Please don’t call me a chauvinist, remember equal share of work. Sip jan yeah I dig your compressor…. I am motorcycle nut, so for us all cars are cages regardless. Once you ride a bike your adventures on SUV would seem baby play Accelerated you are one lucky guy. I would of volunteer to help your dad. Every guy like tools. I guess it started from straw stick catching ants.
Accelerated
I'm not exactly into power tools, but you guys would be in heaven if you were me, coz my dads a builder, and we've got all the tools from usual small appliances to a jackhammer and a water-cooled masonry cutter . Sip
No I saw it in City Walk first a few weeks ago but I actually picked it up from Vegas! The girl working at the counter was pretty nice so I managed to talk the price down from $15 to $7, got free batteries, and a lighter which shocks the hands for $5 (It was marked at $10) for my brother. Man, that girl would have given me anything in the store for less than half price I was actually going to get it off of ebay (it's .99) but with shipping, they get to be pretty expensive and who knows if you can trust them (they come from Hong Kong).
