Takoush
Konfetka; I'll tell you a small story. One day a man went to the Lord and said I'm sick and tired of my cross in life. "Now the cross is the hardships that each one of us humans carry for ourselves in life". Then the Lord took the man to a large room with lots and lots of crosses; some long some short, big medium, in gold, etc. etc. The man now went to the gold cross and then to the silver one, and he found out that they are heavier and harder to carry then his own original cross. Suddenly in the corner of the room the man noticed a smaller wooden cross and he went and he picked it up, then he said to the Lord "that's it, this is the cross I want to carry", as the wooden and smaller cross was much lighter than all the others. The Lord turns to the man and says; "but this was your own original cross that you always had and carried". Anonymouse
“The press today is an army with carefully organized weapons, the journalists its officers, the readers its soldiers. But, as in every army, the soldier obeys blindly, and the war aims and operating plans change without his knowledge. The reader neither knows nor is supposed to know the purposes for which he is used and the role he is to play. There is no more appalling caricature of freedom of thought. Formerly no one was allowed to think freely; now it is permitted, but no one is capable of it any more. Now people want to think only what they are supposed to want to think, and this they consider freedom.” -- Oswald Spengler
