Dear Gandor, A belated welcome to you.

Please search an see see Real Armenian Music.

Why do I cry every time I watch this?

That woman wiping her tears may be the mother of one of the boys.

Never mind those turkoghlis who pretend to sing "armenian".

Not by those pamboukji, baghdadli, dinkji and other furk-armens.

What the **** kind of “cotton picking” so called “Armenian” music is that!!

Btw “pamboukji” is a furkish word meaning “cotton picker”.**

If he does not have the minimum decency and Armenian pride to change his surname to “bampak/ Բամպակեան “ he will not even cross my threshold/շէմ doorstep. And just because he recites words like “saretsi” it makes it Armenian?

How many more clowns like him, pamboukjioghlu, baghdadlioghlu(RIP), dinkjioghlu are there who pretend to sing Armenian?

Cotton picking-Meaning

A general term of disapproval, of something that is troublesome or a nuisance.

Origin-It can come as little surprise that the term 'cotton-picking' originated in the southern states of the USA, where it is usually pronounced cotton-pickin'. It began life in the late 1700s and differs from the 19th century Dixie term, 'cottonpicker', in that the latter was derogatory and racist, whereas 'cotton-picking' referred directly to the difficulty and harshness of gathering the crop. This didn't extend to the specific expression 'keep your cotton-picking hands off of me'. This no doubt alludes to the horny, calloused (and usually black) hands that picked cotton.

Of course, 'cotton-picking' must have been in use as an English adjectival phrase for as long as English-speaking people have picked cotton. There are numerous citations of 'cotton-picking' seasons/jobs/machines etc. since the late 1700s. J & E Pettigrew's Letters has an early example, from 1795

Forgive me. Everytime I see people with surnames like "ji" and "li" I cry just like Petros Durian did in his ԶՂՋՈՒՄ. Մօրըս Արտոսրը Տեսայ, I Saw my mother's tears.

So is the problem with Harout or the song? The song is called "Usta Chale" which I am guessing is 100% Turkish.

Harout/ Marout. May he and his ilk RIP , ie. may he rest in pis of stambol.

Mard/Marout means Mortal as in the Armnian ՄԱՐԴ/Mortal/Մահկանացու.

Pamboukji?

How about he change his name to pam-Bokhjian/քաքեան/shitian?

They pretend to sing in Armenian when half of their words and glglots are furkish .

Mey his ilk pretending to sing turk-Armenian embrace that cold earth six feet below.

I have been told that the part of my last name before the YAN is Turkish. It most likely means one of the following: handicapped, crippled, disheveled or something else horrible. I do hate it but I never thought of changing it. I guess in a way it's a constant reminder of the 600 years of oppresion and genocide that we are all trying to overcome.

My surname is not furkish, it has not been for over 6000 years. If it were I would first hang myself, rather than live with such insult.

Dear Gandor, let me wish you another 60000000000 years of "oppression" to be reminded by, gloat and bask in it. We may have earned it.

Այսքան չարիք թէ մոռանան մեր ոդիք, Թող ողջ աշխարհ կարդայ Հայուն նախտինք.

SAD!!! VERY SAD!!!

Der Gandor, could you please tell us who is forcing you to have a furkish surname? George Washington-ian or Abraham Lincoln-ian or Barak Obama-ian?

Sorry, can't read Armenian.

OK. I'll write it in Latin. It is a quote from Avetis Aharonian.

Aysqan chariq the moranan mer vodiq, togh voghj ashkharh karda hayoun nakhatinq.

Lest our children forget all this evil, may the whole world despise and offend us.
