History repeats. Anyone here familiar with the docudrama Անին ԾախուեցաւAni Was Sold? I see references to it but no expansion. Who sold Ani? What and how much did the Byzantines get for it?

ISTANBUL. – The Hatay Province (Sanjak of Alexandretta), which had passed to France after World War I, was given to Turkey, in 1939, for a mere 7 million francs.

Turkey’s Vatan daily’s correspondent obtained a document, whereby it became apparent that Turkey’s central bank had paid France 7 million francs for the Hatay Province. It is noted that it was because of this money that Hatay Province was handed over to Turkey. The Turkish president of the time, Ismet Inonu, PM Refik Saydam, and all the Turkish ministers had signed under the respective agreements.

To note, a considerable number of Armenians used to live in Hatay Province, but they left their lands after 1939. Hatay’s Armenian-populated Vakif village, however, exists to this day

Thirty pieces of silver was the price for which Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus, according to the Gospel of Matthew 26:15 in the Christian New Testament.[1] Before the Last Supper, Judas went to the chief priests and agreed to hand over Jesus in exchange for 30 silver coins. Afterwards, he was filled with remorse and returned the money

PLEASE TELL US THE SAGA OF YOUR FAMILY. WERE THEY IN THAT EXILE/ETHNIC CLEANSING OF 1939?

The majority of those exiles came to Aleppo, the most generous and hospitable of all host countries, many of whom eventually ended up in Anjar, Lebanon. I have known some of them personally, some very closely.

Those batard French who encouraged the Armenians of Kilikia to confront those rabid dogs/wolves ** to eventually betray and abandon them to the “mercy” of the murderous mob.

On the side. As we speak, those same bastards and their partners in crime are trying their damndest to disturb the peace and tranquility of Syria, a country and people who have been the most generous haven to the Armenians , not only from Kilikia and Alexandretta but also from the entire Western Armenia, all the way from Kesaria, Sebastia, Kharberd , Tikranakerd, and more.

**The wolf is such a noble beast, yet those savage SOBs call themselves “(grey) wolves”.
