Yervant1
Sad case of reality check! Generally I'm of the mind that, we need to avoid civil unrest in order to save innocent lives, but more and more I'm realizing that, may be it's the only way to fix the country's ill. But the question remains, the ones that take over will they be any better? Or are we going to substitute one set of crooks with another? How sad can it be? To be in this dilemma! My heart aches just by thinking about it. :: Edited March 13, 2011 by Yervant1
Anoushik
But the question remains, the ones that take over will they be any better? No. Of course not. And this problem stems because all Armenians like power and control. Actually, all people like power and control, but in countries like the U.S. at least everyone has to adhere to the established law and order while in Armenia such law and order is non-existent. The problem of power is not only with government officials in Armenia. It's with all the Armenians with power, be they owners of supermarkets or directors of universities. They control all the monies and give pennies to their employees. Nothing will change until all Armenians change their mind-set.

Louise Kiffer
The Armenians in Armenia have started to be corrupted with with Soviet regime ; each one in ussrtried to have a better life, they used to steal, to cheat, not only in Armenia, but in all the countries of USSR, starting with the leaders, nobody was honest, they all thought to their interests. And when Armenia was independant, the same methods prevailed. In the diaspora, we are surprised that there is no moral in the politics ; there are idealist people in Armenia but they are few.We must wait until another generation who are well educated.
