ARMENIAN HYPOCRISY

So all these Armenian conservative hypocrites have raised another #200,000 for the Fresno Assembly of Steve Samuelian, an admitted "John" who has left his wife Houry at home and gone out to frequent prostitutes on the back streets of Fresno. Where is the "hysterical morality" they spewed at Clinton? At least he treated his "young thing" as a human being and hugged her in front of multitudes of people. Samuelian is just a "user" who throws a few dollars at these young women for a some cheap thrills, as the wife sits home with the kids. How many years did I hear from Armenians that Cherilyn Sarkissian was a "fallen woman" not worthy of our time or attention? How much good PR for Armenians was squandered by this phony morality? I ask you, how many other Armenians have won an Academy Award?

A really decent 1/2 Armenian guy ran for the State Assembly from Glendale, a district with a Democratic majority. But the arch-conservatives in our community wanted one of their own. So they played dirty pool, touting that this guy was 1/2 odar and sunk his nomination, so that Armenians would vote for the very conservative Armenian. Well, the very conservative Armenian lost miserably to the non-Armenian Democrat.

It is time to be honest with ourselves. Is your moral stance something that can be bought? Will you overlook these sexual sins if a candidate is Armenian? Maybe Samuelian realizes that Armenains are just like the prostitutes he frequents. It reminds me of the woman a guy met in a bar and asked her to sleep with him. She refused and replied, "What do you think I am?" He then offered her to go with him on an all expenses paid European vacation, on the premise that they share a room to save expenses. She agreed. He then asked her if the same would apply for a weekend in Palm Springs. She said again "What do you think I am?" He replied, "That is already established, now we are only negotiating price."

MadArmo,

The traitors in the Armenian community are the ones who place ideology or their own interests above our common good for our people. My mention of the Glendale race is a typical example. Now the pot calls the kettle black! You guys see everything through your own prism. You feel that you can can play dirty pool all you wish, but scream "TRAITOR" when the same is done to you. Don't get too cocky big boy, the domestic Waterloo is coming. So of the father, so of the son! 8 years of economiuc boom under Clinton and after just 10 months were headed for 1929.

MosJan,

This story began with Samuelian's own admission, claiming that this was a one-time incident.

Here is your proof.

Website of Fresno Bee newspaper:

As for the Armenian leadership, both political and ecclesiastical it is time they had a major conference and thought up ways to bring the whole community together. A new on-line news site was recently established to tell the whole truth. This is what our jounalist must do. I do not know the exact implications of "yerkparatich" but by translating it's parts, I can assume it is "stool pigeon." How much longer are we going to let the bullies in our community control everything?

Ok so what do we do new ??? lets all get together, start yelling and demonstrating, and one after the other lets join the democratic party. since democrats are the most "honest and trusted politicians in this world"

lets get red of the "bullies" in our community- but my question is who will be the next "Bull" ??? or for whom, who is the "bull" or the "bulls" that we are going to do this favor for ???

their will always be a politicians, activist, who will use the Armenian case or the Agendas in our community to clime up the steps... just to get elected. after that ... it's a story that all of us know... this styupet game has been played for to long.

WE ARMENIANS HEV HED ENUGH OF THIS B*** S****

hagarga if we dig deep enough in any ones life I'm sure we can find a dark page or two, that a person would not like us to know same is for me i guess for you to

Chill man , lets don't take Armenians a part, lets find a way to bring most of us together.

I agree with you that there is no perfect person, politician or otherwise. I would like to see an Armenian win the Valley seat. I am sorry that Poochigian did not run for Congress, and I am a Demorat. Samuelian has a solid record. One more Armenian in an official position would benefit us. But Samuelian has a choice. His party has varying degrees of political belief. Republicans such as Ken Maddy and Bill Jones have won elections in the Fresno area. If he sets himself up with the "paragons of virtue," it is hypocritical to denigrate others, while not adhering to a moral road himself. He can run as a social moderate/fiscal conservative and win, or at least not ally himself with the extreme social conservatives in his party. As you say, everyone has some dark corners. If his are to be overlooked, he himself has to have the same tolerance for the "dark corners" of other peoples lives.
