Kwasniewski made the statements during a visit to Genocide Memorial in Yerevan and a meeting with students and professors of Yerevan State University last week. The statements of Kwasniewski were conveyed to Ankara by the embassy of Turkey in Warsaw. Turkey's foreign ministry officials said they were following the incident, noting that the necessary response would be given in the possible shortest time.
