The supervision of the Jerusalem Throne of Armenian apostolic church is against the implementing of the scheme on Middle East crises settlement, discussed at the negotiations, according to which Armenian sector of the city has to be separated from Christian sector. Jerusalem, as it is known, consists of four sectors: Jewish, Arabian, Christian (Greek-Latin) and Armenian. According to the project of arabian-israel opposition settlement, the city has to be divided in such a way, that Armenian and Christian sectors will be in different sides. According to Shirvanyan, the bishop, responsible for internal affairs in Jerusalem diocese, this settlement scheme could not be reasonable as Armenians, together with Greeks and Catholics, have equal rights for the Holy Resurrection Cathedral, which is situated in Christian sector.
