Arpa
so what would one name a little tiny brown dog who likes to explore? He's not here yet,he's still nursing from his mommy... my dog when I was little was named Sheneeg and his brother Sevoog...yeah I know I once had (black) dog that we named Sevuk, and it so happened that our next door neighbor had white poodle named Jermuk. Since your puppy is brown, how about "Toukhik/Թուխիկ"? Some may suggest that the Armenian wprd for brown is "srjaguyn". Let me differ, it is "toukh/թուխ". Maybe he/she will learn to bark in Armenian - "hach-hach" Brown puppy; http://umoja.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2006/09/brown_puppy.jpg Edited January 25, 2009 by Arpa

Arpa
Arpa I knew I could count on you I like that.... How about “տուրմ/tourm”, the Armenian word for chocolate? No, no. Nobody knows where the word comes from. Many of us use words like shokola/chocolat/շոքոլա . Strictly, it sounds French to mean “cocoa and milk”, much like “café au lait/latte“. Or that chocolate cookie known as “brownie”? http://www.sweetmuse.com/images/home_brownie.jpg Joke. “how now brown cow”? Where does chocolate milk come from? Brown cow? How about “tuffy” to sound like “toffee”? Or, hajogh/յաջող (successful) to sound like hachogh/հաչող (barky). Forigive me. I bark a lot. Btw, what do you call a place where dogs gather a lot? “barking lot”? http://www.cowboyart.net/barkinglotdoggrooming/BarkingLotTub.104.JPG

A have a friend (MosJan you know her) who has named her dog Rubo. It suits him so well I cannot imagine calling that dog by another name.
