I do not know if he is or is not Armenian. I guess he could be Persian or Indian. But I did look up "Dildarian" and it was listed on a website that listed Armenian surnames. If only those damn stupid Armenians would have real Armenian surnames. My initial hunch was that it was furkish to mean “linguist” lezvaban/lezvaget, just like the Armenian Hakob “dilachar” (tongue opener) who devised the modern Latin kemalian-furkish alphabet. It turns out to be Persian “dilbar” to mean sweetheart, yet also “dilbaz” means coquettish, sassy, probably endearingly applied to sassy cheeky little girls.
