If you have nothing better to say then I would recommend you not to get involved in this topic. Whether she married for love or for $$$ is none of your business (not even mine and I could care less), so if you have nothing better to say then please go away! I didn't tell you about her life story, so that few of you can take the opportunity to express your opinions about her and her troubled situation. If you feel like expressing yourself, then do it elsewhere on this forum. Again, I opened this topic in order to try to help someone else, and if you have no advice or no important info then do not express your judgemental opinions about a stranger. Your unnecessary and rude comments about a person who is obviously stuck in a very helpless and serious situation is unnecessary. Any helpful info will be appreciate it! There's an Armenian woman in her early 30's who needs desperate help because she's all alone in US, and she's has been here for the last 2-3 years! She has a 1 1/2 year old baby girl and a crazy husband who is from Southeast Asia! I say crazy because he has made her life miserable ever since he brought her to US from Yerevan. He has treated her like shi.. and now they are in the middle of a lawsuit. She filed for a divorce, but he vowed to get back at her. Today, he filed a lawsuit against her stating that she's mentally unstable (crazy!!!), that she abuses their baby girl, that she yells at him at his friend's house (hence, where her 'craziness' is coming from). The bottom line is that she's really stuck and not sure what to do. Also, she has no relatives in this country, so she's helpless and all alone. Plus, her husband is a monster! His ex-wife confirmed that and also stated that he made her life miserable for years until she got away from him, although he was able to take away their kid from the mother for about 7 years until their son went to live with his mom...the same exact method that he's trying to use on the second wife! Now he has gone around the neighborhood stating that his wife is crazy, and he asked the neighbors not to listen to her if she goes to them for some kind of a help! He has a half a million dollar car and a $1+ million home, but he only used to give her $200 to spend per week (how sad is that!). Also, he would make a big scandal every time she called her mother in Yerevan! She has no idea how much he's making and any time she signed the IRS papers, he always presented her the last page to sign. This is why she has no idea about his finances because he always keeps it a secret from her. Also, he didn't even let her have a joint checking account. He opened up a separate account under her name and he was transferring about $200/week for her. As you can see, she really needs help and at this point I think that she needs the help of a lawyer for the sole purpose of not loosing her daughter! It's obvious that she can not afford a lawyer since she does not work (hasn't worked a day in US), and she can not afford one with $200. I should also add that her husband tried to kick her out with the BABY from his house a week ago, and threatened to call the police on her. She called the police in the morning herself and the police filed a report on him! The funny thing is that the police told her that it's alright...all the men from that particular country treat their wives the same way! He's now away from their house until the divorce is settled! I don't know why her husband (the scum) can not get a divorce in a normal way! I don't know why he's making sure that she ends up in a mental institution, and now he's filing a lawsuit to take away the baby from her. She's very helpless and has no money because the husband no longer transfers money to her account. If you know of Armenian divorce lawyers who can help this woman free of charge and advise her, please inform me and I will have her contact the lawyer. I should also add that she lives in Riverside County. I would really hate to see that scum getting the custody of the baby for no reason. He's doing everything to make her feel miserable...exactly how he treated his first wife! I truly think that this man is not right in the head because what I have writen in here about him, it is only the surface of what he has done. Are there any Armenian organizations who can assist her some how? She's going to loose her car in near future, which only means that things will get tougher for her. She did speak to a lawyer on the phone once, but it was more of a consultation. Like I said just now...It's really none of my business why she got married to him. If it wasn't for this helpless situation, I wouldn't get into her business at all. I'm not interested in opinions in here. I only care for helpful information so that she can hurry this process as soon as possible. The guy is truly an a-hole, but it took me a while to know that. He's very manipulative too. There's lots more that the guy has done, but I already went into details about the situation, and I should stop here. I already descibed what the current situation is.
