Do your live in America?Could you please repeat your Christmas wishes to "Our Catholic Brothers & Sisters"?Did you celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25? Are you Catholic? Did you go to work on Dec. 25? I did not. Will you/I be working on Jan. 6,13,18,19? Yes!!! And so will many Catholics. Edited December 31, 2010 by Arpa

Arpa
Arpa what is on the 18th and 19th?The entire Christian world all the way from Albany to Zelanda celebrates Christmas on Dec. 25, whether the date is correct or not is another subject, except guess who insist that it was Jan. 6, 13, 18 or 19. See when the Armenians of Jerusalem Celberate Christmas in Bethlehem. Jan. 6 is exactly 12, a dozen days after Dec. 25. Do you know the song 12 Days of Christmas?http://www.41051.com/xmaslyrics/twelvedays.htmlAlso note that between Jan. 6 and the Armenian Christmas in Jerusalem/Bethlehem is another 12/dozen days. Some day I will learn the significance of 12/dozen. Like the 12 Apostles of Jesus, not ten, not eleven, not thirteen but twelve. Arpa
Why are we calling that "tree" Christmas Tree in the English version as opposed to "tonatsar/holiday tree" in the Armenian version? Which "ton/holiday/feast/festival" is it? Arbor Day or Ground Hog day?So now we are all Catholics and our Supreme Patriarch is a CATHOLIC-os?Why Don’t I see “MERRY CHISTMAS TO OUR CATHOLIC BROTHERS AND SISTERS" here”? So we assume that our brothers and sisters in Yerevan have embraced the “CATHOLIC” denomination?WE NEED TO JOIN THE WORLD FAMILY and start singing hymns like JOY TO THE WORLD ,including ARMENIA. Unless of course, we live on a planet far far away, and we wait till Jan. 6, 13, 18 to sing cracked Jingle Bells of Bethlehem.http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-WrprUGNme-k/Tg0LeisszwI/AAAAAAAAALg/CY4Evr8LwKY/s400/liberty+bell+nps.jpg We are living so in the past that we can’t see what is happening around us.---http://hyeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=17233&pid=278321&st=40entry278321 Edited December 28, 2011 by Arpa
