Guest
Iranyar (Enshalla Salom't bashi)No I am not Fereydani, I was born in Tehran, but my ancestors were from Arak. But we have Fereydani (Peria) Armenian neighbors. And sorry, I don't understand Georgian (except Gamar Joba, Khvanchkara, Kindz Marauli ).What is interesting, Armenian great poet Hovhanes Tumanyan (countryman of Nvard) has poem about Fereydan, called "Tagavorn u charchin" ("Berel e dzez azat Peria, Achkn el lav misht dzez vra").Hamishe piruz (be ma'nie Orupayi, n'a be ma'nie Iruni )
Guest
Barev Ararat, Where you have Freydani Armenian neighbours? As I know they are now for big part in Esfahan (& shahin shahr) not in Fereydan itself.I can't define myself as Fereydani either, I am from more southwards. I've tried ti find my original ancestoral town "chehraz"(sounds very caucasian) it might have been in Fereydan, in Baxtyari or in Pars, but nothing of it has remaind I said in Georgian I know axore bala and sibak they are in Ferydunshahr farmandari (farmandari=+ - province) but Jajur and shurushkan don't know. Who in Gods'name is haji heydar? BTW we in Iran, don't use Gamarjoba, and as I know axore bala was the name of Fereydunshahr, when it was a little town. Sibak is a mountaineous little town (nver been there)!
