I have not heard of any incidences. Michael Kotanjian is walking tall and proud Karen Galulyan is still in business last I heard. Andranik Shahinyan, the comedian? Even though I haven’t heard their entire album but the songs I have heard I like them, hopefully they don’t change their style as they go. About Alegrova I heard she is half Armenian, but I have also heard that Kirkorov, Varum, and even Pugahceva is half Armenian, so go figure. I am having hard time believing about Pugacheva and Kirkorov being half Armenians, but I am not sure that about Varum I heard many times that she is Armenian, and years ago when she was asked if she was Armenian in her interview she responded by saying “ unfortunately yes” does anyone know if this is true or another typical rumor? Hus dad use to live and sing in Armenia in the late 60s I believe. But how cares what nationality he is. His singing sucks no matter what.
