Ali, I will be honest and say I know very little about the genocide and cant comment however much of what you said above I remember a little differently. In regards to your comments about your disappointment in the lack of info/discussion to all the developments of the Armenian-Turkish relationship, I share your disappointment. It is also very true that Armenia is living at very interesting times, probably the most interesting in the past 70-80 years, yet you will find hardly anything about that in this forum as well. We(including I) have had a good way of pushing fellow members out of the forum that we can learn from and today have become more of a chit chat place than anything else. What angered some about your behavior was not about the 'land claims' but your insensibility to the Armenian demands and what this land represent for the Armenians. Even the most moderate users here started turning against you and this was beyond the incident with Martin and I am sure that you remember this. While you say recognising the genocide your tone was appologistic, more particularly your last replies which also turned me against you while I was from the beggining supportative of you. This is also when people started thinking that they better discuss with a honest ignorant Turk who denies the Armenian genocide than the intelligent Turk who..., and rumors of your possible motives started. It wasn't intentional but I'm sorry for my transgression and I regret it deeply. It was really none of my business to begin with. If what you are saying is true about the extent of the army and the secret service and what they are capable of is very frightening in my opinion.
