Can you guess which one is Arpi? Can you guess which one is Arpi? Photographer Karen Mirzoyan has been named winner of a six-week work scholarship in London. Karen was among photographers attending World Press Photo training in Yerevan’s Caucasus Media Institute. Karen’s work was selected as the best, among photographers from Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. Additionally, Karen recently returned from Denmark, where he participated in a tour for journalists at the invitation and sponsorship of Bang & Olufsen electronics company. See below a portfolio of Karen’s winning work. \\\ http://armenianow.com/files/pub/karen/8.jpg During ceremonies celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Yerevan Press Club, our youngest reporter, Arpi Harutyunyan (20), was named first-prize winner of “No One Is Left Behind” organized within the framework of the Millennium Development Goals Campaign, of the United Nations Development Programme. As winner of the competition, Arpi will receive a week-long visit to Geneve, Switzerland, where she will be the guest of the United Nations and meet other journalists who are winners of similar competitions.
