ince early 2008, the WKS group is represented in the Caucasus with its own production site. In Armenia, where the economy for some years has a very positive and stable growth, the clothing industry is of great importance. WKS Armenia LLC is a subsidiary of the German WKS Textilveredlungs–GmbH and it was founded as a joint venture with a Dutch–Armenian partner. In Armenia, we are are focusing on a young European management and employees who are skilled and highly motivated. Our plant is equipped with modern manufacturing technology and we dispose of large production areas. The main production site of WKS in Armenia is located in Armenias capital Yerevan, where we produce work clothes for a well known manufacturer. Further production plants are placed at logistically favourable interfaces, e.g. in Vanadzor. In total, our activities in Armenia are charaterized by an absolute quality orientation and enormous textile skills. From cutting to tailoring and up to the embroidery and washing of the produced garments – WKS Armenia covers the entire portfolio of activities involved in the clothing production and also takes care of all logistical tasks involved.
