  1. If Turkey ever opens their borders with Armenia, in my opinion, Turkey will still do whatever possible to get rid of Armenian Republic and united with Azerbaijan. Armenians cannot trust Turks or some other Muslim groups for one too many reasons.
  2. Yeah, I understand what you mean, it is pretty hard to trust a government after what happened in 1915. But anyway, I do not know if it is a good or bad thing but turns out these claims are not real. At least that is what the Turkish government is saying. This was simply published in the Turkish newspaper stating that is what Erdogen wanted. From my own understanding, I am guessing they simply want to defame Erdogen's image since he is running for president soon.

  5. Somewhat new video about Yerevan, Armenia. http://youtu.be/WaIYa_mIz-A
  6. http://www.todayszaman.com/news-352158-report-turkey-preparing-to-open-its-armenia-border.html What do you folks think about this? Is it an overall pro or con for Armenia? More import-export/tourism for Armenia; But can Turks slowly start purchasing Armenian estate? Slowly populating and occupying Armenia in case a war breaks out with Azerbaijan and Turks ambush Armenia easier? There are so many factors considering this scenario; What do you think will happen?
  7. Hey ladies and gentleman; I am going to visit Armenia in the near future and I just wanted to know more about the tour groups and how they work. If someone can please tell me how early I have to book a tour group and if it gets more pricey if I book a group later than sooner. Also, is a 10 day tour too long for my first time you think? Do we always go back to our hotels in Yerevan, or is it depending where we are in Armenia? Also, where is the meet usually the following morning? Do we meet in the bus stop? I realize each tour group can have different regulations but for the ones who have had one, I would appreciate some insight. Thanks.
  8. Hey Onjig, thank you very much for the kind words and nice to meet you too. I definitely know I am not the first to mention this theory, but I feel it is still important to remind our people the other path they can take, the more polite and genuine path. Also, yes; I also noticed how many Armenian people are so nice and polite. Of course there are the not so nice ones, but that is inevitable. Yes, my parents thought me the virtues or respect and compassion just as yours. Thank you very much for understanding. Even if you had a different opinion I would also respect it and learn something out of it too.
  9. Monte Melkonian, a very great example he demonstrated. Long live the Armenian Race.
  10. Wow, great post. I just hope they mean Western Armenia when they mention "Turkey" which as we all know is a fairly new country. It is ridiculous how barbaric most of Turkey and Azerbaijan are. Massacring and stealing is what runs in their blood. One thing is a guarantee; Armenians might be few, but many work as a team to fight injustice. Long Live Armenia and the Armenian People!
  11. Hey, thanks for the reply; I agree! Also, the forum seems great; There are many topics to cover. I am glad I found it and I am glad to have such compassionate moderators as yourself.
  12. Thank you Ashot. You have made a great point. The amount of Armenians dying in Russia due to "murder" is extremely low, statistically speaking. In my opinion, living in Russia is far much safer than Turkey, Azerbaijan, Syria, or other Muslim Majority Countries. Armenians living in Turkey and Azerbaijan is what people should really be cautious about, not Russia. Russians attack other ethnic groups including Ethnic Russians too. Besides, like Ashot said, Armenians are not exactly angels themselves. We must treat others with respect and compassion so outsiders can see our superb side and so we can make more friends and not enemies and eventually supporting Armenians for future events Armenians hold.
