In Armenia the numbers are 99% and 90% respectively. The levels of cohabitation (living together sexually without getting married) is 75% in the West while in Armenia is 01% only. If a young woman in America today says she is saving her virginity (like Armenian girls do) for her husband, she certainly be considered hopelessly old fashioned and be treated with disdain, while the polite society of Armenia labels such one as whore.

A writer said: "The foundation of the Christian family is the sacrament of matrimony, the spring of all domestic and public morals. When the anti-Christians have succeeded in destroying the hearth, then the morality of society will perish." Who were those anti-Christians of the West? They were satanists and paganists lurking behind the mask of "secularism". They corrupt a society in order to conquer.

Abraham Lincoln, the president, said: "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

"The defining characteristic of civilization is the consecration of sex to marriage, or at the very least, love and courtship. Marriage and family are the red blood cells of a healthy society and the basis for procreation" said another writer.

Sexual degradation is the primary instrument used by Satanists in order to induct people into their religion. "Sexual liberation" was a ruse designed by them to undermine marriage and family. Pagans have reduced all relationships between males & females to the lowest sexual common denominator. Their goal is to destroy marriage-family and make women a public sexual utility (amateur prostitutes). This is how they enslave mankind.

In Armenia, in general, men are required to get married in order to have sex, women are courted and loved. They are honored for their contributions as wife and mother. Far from protecting "women's rights," feminism in America has diminished women and left them twisting in the wind. When a woman has casual sex, as feminists advocate, inevitably she turn out disappointed and feels used and betrayed. She starts to hate men and falls victim to feminism and lesbianism.

The separation of sex from marriage, i.e. "sexual liberation," is one of the principle ways satanism and paganism have killed love. Wanton sex in America has become a facsimile for love. Young women in the West now market themselves as sexual partners, not wives and mothers. Men in America are also trained to seek sex, not love. Anonymous sex cannot compare to sex in the context of a loving relationship.

This deluded fascination with sex in the West is a large part of what we call "modernism", and when a Christian church takes the path of this modernization it will be as if taking the path of whorish-mess against God.

Monogamy and family in Armenia are wholesome and life affirming. When sex is consecrated for marriage, it bonds husband and wife. Marriage provides a wholesome secure environment for raising children in Armenia.

For a real woman, by her instinct, sex is an act of surrender and possession and by right definition and understanding, it requires trust and commitment. Most women, deep in their hearts, want one thing: to be loved permanently by one man whom she loves. Sex to them is the symbol of an exclusive long-term bond. But society and the modern culture they have grown in America tells them otherwise; all from TV programs, movies, mass media, music, books, college and university education program --their minds is programed into a free style partying life to be the norm for them. They are not able to resist social pressures to act according to their instincts in a normal fashion they were meant to be, like it is done in Armenia.

In Armenia men chose women for their worth as helpmates. She must know how to cook, make clothes, and milk cows if living in rural area, and know how to dance traditional Armenian dances. They look for women who are gentle and accommodating, who have skills, character, personality and make good mothers. Like the plague they avoid promiscuous women, feminists and women who are alienated from their fathers; and women who want everything to be "equal" between wife and a husband.

In the West men have been brainwashed to idealize women, having divorce in mind when this period of idealization is over; while in Armenia women are treated lovingly and not idealized except in few cases. In Armenian marriage a couple looks for a life-long companionship, someone who is easy to live with. They know that sexual attraction inevitably will fade.

In America they also know that sexual attraction inevitably will fade, but who cares!! They can dump anytime their companion and get another more attractive sexually. The corruption in America have reached levels unimaginable by men&women of Armenia.

Happy Mothers day

shnorhavorumem bolor Mayrerin ays gexetsik toni artiv, amenayn bariqner, hamperutyun u yerjankutyun

PUTIN
Published: September 11, 2013

MOSCOW - RECENT events surrounding Syria have prompted me to speak directly to the American people and their political leaders. It is important to do so at a time of insufficient communication between our societies. Relations between us have passed through different stages. We stood against each other during the cold war. But we were also allies once, and defeated the Nazis together. The universal international organization
- the United Nations - was then established to prevent such devastation from ever happening again. The United Nations' founders understood that decisions affecting war and peace should happen only by consensus, and with America's consent the veto by Security Council permanent members was enshrined in the United Nations Charter. The profound wisdom of this has underpinned the stability of international relations for decades.

No one wants the United Nations to suffer the fate of the League of Nations, which collapsed because it lacked real leverage. This is possible if influential countries bypass the United Nations and take military action without Security Council authorization.

The potential strike by the United States against Syria, despite strong opposition from many countries and major political and religious leaders, including the pope, will result in more innocent victims and escalation, potentially spreading the conflict far beyond Syria's borders. A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilize the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance.

Syria is not witnessing a battle for democracy, but an armed conflict between government and opposition in a multireligious country. There are few champions of democracy in Syria. But there are more than enough Qaeda fighters and extremists of all stripes battling the government. The United States State Department has designated Al Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, fighting with the opposition, as terrorist organizations. This internal conflict, fueled by foreign weapons supplied to the opposition, is one of the bloodiest in the world.

Mercenaries from Arab countries fighting there, and hundreds of militants from Western countries and even Russia, are an issue of our deep concern. Might they not return to our countries with experience acquired in Syria? After all, after fighting in Libya, extremists moved on to Mali. This threatens us all.

From the outset, Russia has advocated peaceful dialogue enabling Syrians to develop a compromise plan for their own future. We are not protecting the Syrian government, but international law. We need to use the United Nations Security Council and believe that preserving law and order in today's complex and turbulent world is one of the few ways to keep international relations from sliding into chaos. The law is still the law, and we must follow it whether we like it or not. Under current international law, force is permitted only in self-defense or by the decision of the Security Council. Anything else is unacceptable under the United Nations Charter and would constitute an act of aggression.

No one doubts that poison gas was used in Syria. But there is every reason to believe it was used not by the Syrian Army, but by opposition forces, to provoke intervention by their powerful foreign patrons, who would be siding with the fundamentalists. Reports that militants are preparing another attack - this time against Israel - cannot be ignored.

It is alarming that military intervention in internal conflicts in foreign countries has become commonplace for the United States. Is it in America's long-term interest? I doubt it. Millions around the world increasingly see America not as a model of democracy but as relying solely on brute force, cobbling coalitions together under the slogan "you're either with us or against us."

But force has proved ineffective and pointless. Afghanistan is reeling, and no one can say what will happen after international forces withdraw. Libya is divided into tribes and clans. In Iraq the civil war continues, with dozens killed each day. In the United States, many draw an analogy between Iraq and Syria, and ask why their government would want to repeat recent mistakes.

No matter how targeted the strikes or how sophisticated the weapons, civilian casualties are inevitable, including the elderly and children, whom the strikes are meant to protect.

The world reacts by asking: if you cannot count on international law, then you must find other ways to ensure your security. Thus a growing number of countries seek to acquire weapons of mass destruction. This is logical: if you have the bomb, no one will touch you. We are left with talk of the need to strengthen nonproliferation, when in reality this is being eroded.

We must stop using the language of force and return to the path of civilized diplomatic and political settlement.

A new opportunity to avoid military action has emerged in the past few days. The United States, Russia and all members of the international community must take advantage of the Syrian government's willingness to place its chemical arsenal under international control for subsequent destruction. Judging by the statements of President Obama, the United States sees this as an alternative to military action.

I welcome the president's interest in continuing the dialogue with Russia on Syria. We must work together to keep this hope alive, as we agreed to at the Group of 8 meeting in Lough Erne in Northern Ireland in June, and steer the discussion back toward negotiations.

If we can avoid force against Syria, this will improve the atmosphere in international affairs and strengthen mutual trust. It will be our shared success and open the door to cooperation on other critical issues.

My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States' policy is "what makes America different. It's what makes us exceptional." It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord's blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

Vladimir V. It is a scheme run by male Philipine males. After the American male get HOOKED in LOVE with a "bride" that he never met or seen (except beaitiful fake photos e-mailed to him), he star receiving e-mails that say she is in dificult situation and that she need money ugently for this and for that, even "she" may ask for money for airplane ticket to fly into the arms of her love but never does saying another situation came up at the last minute and I had to spent the ticket money for that, can he send money for another ticket; well, since he is by now blinded with love, he does; and then she says that she became suddently sick and had to go to hospital so that is why she did not take the airplane into the arms of her waiting love, would he send more money for another ticket and that she will fly as soon she is out of the hospital and the hospital got all the ticket money. But this time our American guy wanted to be present at the bed of his love to comfort her, and he flies to Philippine and ---he finds out there is no bride and the address he has is fake and is told by police that this is a well-known scheme run by Philipine males or gangs and they can do nothing about it as he donatated his money and was not robbed from him.

NOW IT LOOKS THINGS THIS GOES ALSO IN ARMENIA BUT THE PLAY in Armenia IS UPON THE FEMALES BY ARMENIAN MALES. Sadly, it’s real, and so are the victims .

29 year-old Kristineh Mikayelyan fell in love with a man she only knew over the telephone. Over the course of a year, the young woman handed over some 3 million AMD in cash and gold jewelry to a man she had never seen in person.

That man is Edward Malintsyan, who is now on trial for fraud and detained at the Kosh correctional facility.

In fact, the two first saw each other at the investigator’s office. Kristineh was taken aback when she saw the thin and small bodied Edward. It was nothing like the Rambo-esque photo he had sent her from jail.

At that face to face meeting, Kristineh’s mother was able to whack Edward a few times with her umbrella. The angry mom shouted, “So you’re the guy who cheated my daughter. I’ll bury your head. Give the money back.”

Yesterday’s trial was supposed to have started with the questioning of witnesses. Five of the nine registered were at the trial. However, the defendant told the court he felt queasy. Judge Martin Saroyan declared a twenty minute recess, during which Malintsyan was given a shot of Dimedrol. He complained of numbness and said he might not be able to hear all the witnesses. The court nevertheless went ahead with their testimony.

Aram Tadevosyan, a taxi driver, was one who testified. Two years ago he plied the Gyumri-Yerevan route. He said he knew Kristineh since they lived in the same neighborhood in Gyumri. Mr. Tadevosyan told the court that on several occasions Kristineh gave him a package to deliver to Yerevan. He would phone the number Kristineh had given him and the packages would be picked up.

“Once, she gave me two gold rings to deliver. Another time it was an envelope full of cash. There was a medium size box another time,” Tadevosyan told the court.

Another taxi driver, Azat Atoyan, also testified that he had taken a sum of money for Kristineh to Yerevan. Atoyan confessed he didn’t remember the amount.

“I don’t remember if it was 60,000 or 100,000. I just know it wasn’t more than 100,000,” Atoyan said.

After the witnesses finished testifying, the defendant complained about being sleepy.

Judge Saroyan scheduled the next trial session for January 23.

The Tradition Of Red Apple

http://pics.utro.ru/utro_photos/2005/03/14/11big.jpg

Happy St. Sarkis:)

Some legends indicate she was both Nimrod’s mother and wife. In a power struggle at Babylon, which was the world’s first one world government, one world economic system and one world religion, Semiramis murdered the powerful Nimrod. It appears Nimrod was far more than an ordinary man, he apparently was a Nephilim. The Nephilim was the hybrid race that were produced when fallen angels (B’nai Elohim) had sexual relations with human women. This act of interspecies breeding, which was forbidden by God, produced a race of supermen who were called the “mighty men of old,” or the Nephilim.

======

All of the ancient mystery or occult-based religions began at Babylon. However, after Nimrod’s death, Semiramis became pregnant because she was carrying on an illicit affair. To conceal her affair, she told the people that she became supernaturally pregnant. Semiramis claimed she became pregnant by using a phallic symbol upon herself.

About six months after my husband was gone he told me he wanted to see me in person because I was a good woman and he thought we had a lot in common. He lives in another state 1200 miles away. He finally ask for my phone number but he never gave me his real phone number. He tried to come see me last year around February but got real sick. Then after he got better his aunt had a massive heart attack. A month later his aunt goes into a comma and it has been a year and she is still in a coma. He phones me and allows me to phone him over the data base. He still tells me he wants to see me but so far hasn't given me a date or how we will meet. I tried getting out there about three times but always something happens and he cancels me coming out there. Now I don't have money to travel to his state. He says his life is complicated with the aunt, his job (he is a operations manager for a roofing company), and trying to take care of his three children as a single parent. He keeps telling me we will see each other and get together just wait for him to get his life together.

Now, I'm confused of course because no American man would hang around so long unless he is serious. We are talking about over two years here. So please shed some light on this strange relationship coming from your culture so I can better understand.

What to do with parents that are against their daughter to marry a guy

I met a girl through Armenian dating site myarmenianlove.com and after about 5 months

we met and started to be very close. Green, of Mankato, Minn., had no interest, but his wife went ahead and signed up. After that, he says, she seemed to text all the time — when he'd come home from his evening shift for dinner, when they were cruising the shopping mall.

"Actually, one of my buddies asked me if it was a big deal she was texting all these people," he says. "I said 'No, I trust her, so why would I even worry?'"

Then Green saw a phone bill. He says there were hundreds of texts, a long list of numbers that meant nothing to him. Over time, there was one number more than any other. It was a colleague his wife had started an affair with and for whom she eventually left him.

"Because I was gone at nights, she used him as her support system," he says. "She would talk to him about things."

It turns out that text messages and social media sites like Facebook and MySpace — so beloved for bringing people together — can also drive a wedge between couples.

"We hear this so commonly in our offices that it began to feel like there was a CD player hitting repeat," says Tara Fritsch, a marriage therapist in Edmond, Okla.

To be sure, she says, texting doesn't break up a marriage, people do. But opportunity is a key predictor of infidelity, and social media have increased opportunity exponentially. Does something remind you of an old flame? You can reconnect in the few seconds it takes to type the person's name into Facebook.

"Twenty years ago," Fritsch says, "if you really thought a co-worker was interesting, and later on that evening you thought of them and wanted to say, 'Hey, how you doing?' Then you would have to ask yourself, 'Is it really appropriate to call them at home? What if their spouse answers? What am I thinking about?' "

Today, those stopgaps are gone. Texts and e-mails can be delivered privately. Sending a little message, at least at first, can feel so innocent.

In fact, as Lindsay James of Fort Worth, Texas, learned the hard way that a partner can easily carry on an affair in the same house, even the same room.

"That's what would upset me more than anything," James says. "It's like, 'Wow, he was sitting right next to me, we were watching a movie, and [he was] talking to someone else — and I had no idea.'

The irony, James says, is that her boyfriend admitted he would never have had the nerve to approach other women in person.

Green says he was stunned at how quickly his wife's texting relationship turned into an affair. That's typical. Bob Rosenwein of Lehigh University has found that people communicating online often fall for each other in about a week. That's two or three times as fast — on average — as those courting face-to-face.

"When you don't have nonverbal communication, the likelihood of being able to disclose at a deeper level is greater, because there's less inhibition," Rosenwein says. "So it's going to feel like a more intimate relationship."

Therapist Fritsch says this makes it easier for some with no intention of starting an affair to unwittingly cross a line. Often this leads to a physical affair but even without that, some marriages are damaged.

"The emotional loss — the lies that have hidden the emotional connection — is just as painful as if their spouse had actually gone out and met with someone," Fritsch says.

After his divorce, Green got his own social media accounts and also started texting. He soon learned how easy and addictive it is.

"It's a rush," Green says. "It's a good feeling to have this constant attention poured upon you by anyone that you get to text all the time. And I find myself still loving to get texts from females, and I text, text, text, back and forth."

Yet Green says he's wary about another intimate relationship. He wants to trust again. Every time a girlfriend texts someone else, he can't help but feel suspicious.

Weddings

Well spring is around the corner, out with the cold hopefully soon. It also means that the wedding season is about to start. Some of my friends are getting married, as we all acknowledge that we are not children anymore and although it's a little hard to let go it is an exciting step. Frankly I've been more around divorces than weddings, thus I know little about planning. A little while back I was a bride's maid and I was put through hell. The dresses, the endless hours of photo shoots, a very loooong church ceremony and constant hustle and bustle. I was exhausted at the end and wanted to go home and rest. I swore that if I get married I won't put anyone through the same torture. I was not part of the planning though.

So I was wondering if you guys can give me some information about planning a weddings. What would you avoid, how would you arrange, what were some of your experiences. Have you been to an outdoors weddings and indoors ones. What should one know about the pros and cons of both? Most women are very excited about the whole affair and dreamt of the day all their life, I was really never one of them. I really dislike the whole process. Can you tell me some stories, tips and information as much as you can, please?

I’ve been dating the most amazing Armenian woman for over a year now. It started off long distance and I eventually moved to her city to be with her and to take our relationship to the next level. We both know we want to and are going to get married, no matter what. However the only issue is that I’m what Armenians call odar. Honestly though it doesn’t bother me, I’m so thankful for being who I am and if I had the choice I wouldn’t want to be Armenian, nothing against Armenians I just don’t see the need to feel bad for being who I am.

I’m open to the Armenian culture, I’ve started to learn the language with my lover, am fine with our children learning the language and I’m excited to go with her and spend a few months in Armenia. The entire Armenian community in our city adores me, her best friend from Armenian school and her mom even put me up in their house for a week when we were first visiting and gave me the nickname ‘Antranig Voodian’. Her brother knows about us and we get along great, all her friends know about our love and are so happy for both of us. The only people who don’t know are her parents. We’ve talked long and hard about how we’re going to break the good news to them, and by her choice we decided to wait until I’ve moved to her city and am there for her physically for when we tell them so I can support her.

I’ve read plenty on both sides of the story about weather an Armenian should or shouldn’t marry outside of their race and I’m not willing to debate that there, we’re already together, we’re going to stay together and get married no matter what.

I dislike the idea of not being ‘accepted’ into her family’s side of the Armenian community because they are embarrassed in their daughter’s choice to live her life for herself, not for a nation or a nationality, like not being able to go with her to weddings, and other social gatherings that her parents are at. Mind you were both adults, but she is still living at home off of her parents while she goes to school.

My question is how should we as a strong loving couple who plan on living the rest of our lives together go about breaking the news to her parents? And what could we do to get them to try to accept us for who we are and not shun our love, our relationship, or their daughter’s choice to live her life and marry the man she loves?

I am new here and have a question to you folks... People often talk about whether is it OK to marry an Odar or not. My question is directed to the people who has already made that experience and are married with an odar. I would like to know how do you "manage" your marriage? How do you keep your Identity?

From my own experience and what I have observed from friends being in relationship with odars, it is very difficult to stay 'armenian' if you don't have a partner who gives up his identity or doesn't care that much about his culture. And even IF, you still have to explain yourself ever and ever agian.

#1: Problems among you two:

You always have to compromise. You alwas have to explain yourself why do you think the way you think. Why you do have a close relation with your parents. There are A LOT OF things which you do without thinking about, because they are normal to you, but not your husband. To an extent, of cours in a relationship you always have to compromize, you always have to explain... but I have the impression that there is more to explain with an odar. And the worst thing is, he won't understand it right. He will say ok, I got it, but he has got it in his own way. It is like you speak different languages in your mind too, you are programmed to think different.

#2: Problems among your families: which may result in #1

The good thing about odar families is that they dont stick they nose into your business that much as armenian families. BUT it is still difficult to make them understand that you are an ARMENIAN and you like to keep your langauge, culture. And that maybe someday if you have children you would like them to speak your language. Many odars come up with "armenian? why would you need that?!". Here is also the point that no matter how you explain, they won't really understand your point. In the european country where I live, many people are arrogant and to some extent nationalist: thinking of themselves as of being very progressive. Cultures that they don't know are seen as un-progressive. You always have to fight with that ignorance & stupidity!

#3: Problems concerning your friends: which may result in #1

It is very difficult to have common friends. I have many armenian friends and when we meet with them, my BF feels always uncomfortable because we speak a language he doesn't understand. I think the real problem is that he hay txamardkanc xandum e! That's a thing I have observed very often on odar men/women who have armenian partners.

#4: Problems concerning your children: which may result in #1

We don't have children yet, but because of the points above and because I have observed it many times on other friends it seems to me that you always have to explain/argue why you want your children to learn armenian, why you want your children to spend time in Armenia, why you want your children to have armenian friends.

So, what are you experiences and how do you solve your problems? Some may say, simply marry an armenian, but I am sure with the armenian guy I would have problems of other kind...

A SirunTgha opinion.

I came across a topic, asking people to describe their perfect man/woman, when it comes to physical appearances. I like the idea so I decided to make my own.

Let me start by saying that physical appearances are nothing but secondary. In my opinion. Of course no one wants to have a relation with a monster. But lets not be radical here.

I'm 19 years old and I have been with many, many women, keyword here is: women; not only girls. It surprises even me. I like to think of myself as someone lucky, because God blessed me with very good looks, I am not full of myself at all. Since I was a kid I had their attention, and of course growing up made it even better. All that is said for you to know that my point of view is based on my experience and I take my attraction of the opposite sex to the next level.

I don't find beautiful women to be as attractive anymore. There's an expression in french: ''Belle de loin, mais loin d'être belle'' - ''Beautiful from afar, but far from beautiful''.

Everyone human being emits an aura, it's a fact, regarding the attitude you adopt in life, it can be very positive.

I came across some women who aren't beautiful. But what caught my attention and heart, and is what I'm looking in a woman, the perfect one - beautiful women to me are those in which you can read their every single emotion, and the way they try to hide it makes me fall for them. Humans are driven by emotions, but we have a strong tendency to hide it, it's a self-defense mechanism. Not to show any sign of vulnerability.

I am in touch with human emotions, especially women's. When you can read a person as if it was a book, you happen to have in front of you a very fragile, vulnerable being. That my friends IS beauty. The way they move, walk or take a seat, the way they take a glass of water and hold it, the graciousness of their movements, the way they smile, the way they laugh, the way they look at you. If you pay attention to those small details, you have to be sensitive of course, you'll notice how beautiful even uglyness can be.

The moral of my post - pay attention attention to details, emotions are very visible, if you're in touch with yourself, you can read other's emotions and that to me is the most valuable gift in life. That's the way you fall in love. Looks are only secondary.

I feel luckily cursed to feel and see it from this perspective, because I'm still looking for the right girl.

You can only feel details. Bits and pieces which you didn't bother to put into words. And extreme moments you feel even if you don't want to. Put it together and you get the feel of the person.

Mail Order Brides

I found an Armenian mail order bride site for the first time today. My cousin at the time was three in a half and remembers me. Last year I saw her for the first time in 16 years. I came back to the U.S. and could not believe that I was in love with my cousin. I made myself believe that I am not and that it is wrong, at the same time I was giving excuses to why it is not wrong. Anyways, my love for her slowly was going away, but something pulled me back to her and I went and visited my aunt's family again for the whole summer. The third night I was there, my cousin and I started kissing, SHE made the first move. The next day we talked about it and found out that both of us were in love. We both love each other, and it is such an unaccepted practice in that country. Anyways, I was there for 2 in a half months, my cousin and I secretly got married and I will do anything for her. I can't live without her. We are now married and I want to bring her to the U.S., however the I-130 immigration petition to bring her asks for both of our mother's maiden names! I don't know what to do!!! I am going crazy, I cannot live without her, I will not marry or date or do anything with any other girl but her, I love her. I think us being cousins creates a stronger marriage and better love, I don't know, please, I want to bring her here with me does anyone know anything about such an issue?

Ardyok Xande Hivandutyun E?

Who Is The Most Beautiful Armenian Girl?

To Check or To Vote For Beautiful Armenian Girls Visit: http://www.theyaboutus.com/BeautifulGirlsArmenia.htm

Two Elephants Marry In Armenia

TWO ELEPHANTS MARRY IN ARMENIA

I recently broke up with my boyfriend whom I've known for a year now.

We were planning to move in together and maybe even get married.

I thought I found the right person, but time and some circumstances showed that I was wrong.

For the past year, we've always been together and done things together. He was like my best friend, besides being my lover and I was very much used to him.

I guess I had my hopes up for nothing. I'm very sad that things didn't work out for us, and I'm sure that I'm going to feel the hurt for some time.

I've noticed from my past relationships, that it's not easy for me to get over someone I loved quickly. I become too attached to men that I date/love. I'm a student in university and I'm trying to do everything in my power so that my studies will not be affected by my situtation.

How can I get over him quickly? Everytime I come up with a "method" to do that, I start remembering all the great time we had together, especially when we were travelling together, and it makes me sad that things didn't work out. I have to point out that it was me who got fed up with some stuff, and it was me who broke off our present and future plans together.

What methods have you used to get over people you've loved before?

Armenian Wants To Marry A Kidnapped Girl

Apeldoornse Courant, The Netherlands

bevrijd.

Omdat in Armenie uithuwelijken

An Armenian wants to marry a kidnapped girl (17)

GRONINGEN - A 17 year-old girl from East Groningen, who was detained

Four Armenian men have been arrested. Witnesses saw the screaming

girl being forced into a car and taken away at high speed.

A bag left at the scene established the girl's identity, who has both

the Armenian and Dutch nationality.

Witnesses who made a note of the car's registration plate, helped

police quickly solve this kidnapping. The girl was found at an

accommodation in the city of Assen, where a 19 year old Armenian was

guarding her. Apparently, the motive of this kidnapping is to

facilitate an arranged marriage.

Platonic Relationship Between A Man And Woman

Hello everyone,

I am Kakachik, been here long time but don't quite start many new topics. In any case, based on a recent personal experience of course, I started wondering about these "platonic friendships" between a man and a woman. Are we attracted to each other perhaps on an unconscious level but don't quite realize it on a conscious level? Are we playing games? Is it ok when a one of the partners starts developing feelings? How do one go from a "platonic relationship" to a real one? Is it possible? I know life's answers are way more complicated than my simple questions here but I would be more than happy to hear both male and female opinions. Cheers!

Hyeforum

don't you just love this place? and the people...hehe

Compromise

The simple truth is - and I have come to this conclusion based on the putrid personal experience of mine from the measly time I have spent on this earth, but also mostly from the experience of others - that a healthy relationship is not based on the idea of compromise. If at any point in any person's relationship, you feel you have come to that dreaded door of compromise, then you may not want to admit to yourself, but you are in the wrong relationship. That means, that either you or the other person, does not accept you or the other person for who they are.

So far the only people that I have mostly heard this from are women. Women always like to claim that "love is all about compromise" or "relationships are all about compromise". I used to accept this as an unquestioned part of all relationships. The more I reflected, the more it made no sense to me, and eventually I had a moment of clarity.

This is far beyond the time of when men would play the god damned lute under their maiden's windows. This notion of compromise is a modern invention along with "sciences" that women love, such as psychology and sociology.

It's amazing how many women believe this and how many men do not question this. If anyone must compromise, then the other person gains. So when a person compromises, the odds are that he/she does not know himself/herself, nor what he/she wants, which is why he/she will settle for a compromise.

Think about it folks. How many of you right now sport this idea yourselves in your relationships or marriages? Take a cold heart look into your structural relations with your significant other and see if this is not the case, and if arguments do not result from this issue.

-= Traditional Armenian Wedding =-

I have resaved a Email form a individual who likes to know the details of the Traditional Armenian Wedding.

can we help him ???

MOvses

Ask Madaleine Albright!

Do you want know if an older women can be with a younger man in the Armenian community? However, due to the fact that this may arouse confusion and suspicion, I am relinquishing my account entirely, to Madeline Albright now.

A 3 Year Relationship Which Ended In Heartbreak. Help!

Hi Everyone,

I entered this forum in hopes that all of you guys and girls would have a better perspective for me in my situation. I'm hoping someone can help me make sense of things and help heal a really really broken heart.

For the past 3 years, I have been in an interracial relationship with my boyfriend (who is of Armenian descent). I myself, am not Armenian, but of Asian descent. We recently broke up because of "irreconcilable issues" which to this day, I still do not know what they are.

In the beginning as all relationships are, everything was great and we were together for a good amount of time each week. As the years progressed, I met everyone except for the two people I should have met... the parents. I have always been open for him to attend my family functions etc.. but he always seemed put off by that fact.

As more time passed, I've been noticing that he always spent more time with his friends than he did with me. His friends even asked me why he doesn't bring me around and I really don't know what to say.

I got really nervous a month ago (the day we broke up) and I checked his email out of curiosity. I was shocked (but not too shocked) to see a bunch of emails referring to an Armenian dating site. He caught me in the act, but at the same time, I felt as if I caught him red handed too. I asked him about the site and he told me it was just something his friends said was cool to join... around a year ago! (that's how far the emails date back). He told me it wasn't his thing, but my point is, he wouldn't have made an entire profile up if he wasn't hoping to meet a new girlfriend of the same nationality.

I asked if he was happy and he said no... I asked why and he said he "didn't know." He said there are issues that can't be resolved and I asked him what issues... but he couldn't name anything specific- he said he just "knew". He said he wanted to take a break for now. So in the end of that night, I basically couldn't be with someone who didn't want to be with me.. someone who's dragged me along for too long if he really couldn't accept me for who I am.

I guess the whole point of the this story is, he tells me that he loves me for 3 years, but this happens. I know that he has never dated an Armenian girl before and I know there are certain levels that I do not know how to connect with him on, and he has that yearning to date his own culture. But I on the other hand, have dated my own culture and have had more problems in that relationship than I did in this one... I truly loved this person regardless of nationality and was open to communication- the whole nine yards. In the end, I ended up with this broken heart which I'm still trying to heal.. but it's only been a month since the breakup.

I understand that it is probably deeper to date someone in your own culture.. but doesn't true love count for anything anymore? Does anyone have words of wisdom for me?

Thank you!!!

Physical Appearance

so can you describe your perfect man/woman?

Most Romantic Armenian Song

What romantic Armenian song would you pick for the first slow dance at the wedding?

Family Members Trying To Play Matchmaker.

Do you guys often find your family members trying to "hook you up" with a member of the opposite sex?
