MosJan
YEREVAN ARARAT TO FACE SERIOUS RIVAL IN UEFA CUP YEREVAN, JULY 31, ARMENPRESS: Yerevan Ararat soccer team will compete in a week with Tel Aviv's Hapoel in the starting series of UEFA Cup. Ararat's chief coach Arkady Andreasian said his team was going to face a tough rival. He said his football players have some information regarding the Israeli team, which is one of the leading soccer clubs in the country with huge experience. Andreasian said his team would prefer to play the first game in Israel, but because of lacking a stadium with international standards it will host the Israeli team in the first game. "We have to be realistic and give an objective assessment to our rival, the rest will be seen in the game," he said.
Juggernaut
I remember my father (with a few of his friends) took me to an Ararat match once when I was like 7, and the USSR still intact. Ararat was playing the Georgian team and we won 2:1, probably the only time I ever said obsenities in front of my father (directed at the ref, of course), it was an unforgetable experience. To victory ARARAT!!!!
