Guest
G@ nerek yete kich m@ zayratsadz em,But I heard some of the clips, and I must say that i did not like one bit of it. First of all, why are there turkish expressions like "tchojoukh" or "@ses ne". I find that the songs contain very bad and dirty material and I don't think it's good music or even Armenian music. Contrary to what the "band" says, it's not appropriate for young Armenians: is it ok to tell someone that your girl is dirty, or this and that? Guest
have you not noticed that the Armenian youth are fast assimilating into other cultures? you cannot expect todays youth to conform to a culture that is set in stone
Guest
I sampled all the tunes on-line before I bought it. The one that really grabbed me was "Dariner Antsni". I haven't listened to it enough to give the full monty on it. Being Armenian AND a music hound, I felt I should buy it just to support what you guys are trying to do. So much of the Armenian music they show on TV in Glendale is cookie-cutter crap, that I think it's important to support anyone try to expand Armenian music. If I can get my ass together on my oud playing mixed with my Roland 808 e-Mix sampler, maybe I can make it onto Hokis Volume Ksan! Keep it up, brother. Some of us old, fourth generation American f*cks still care. 35 and counting, Mike (Pilafhead) [This message has been edited by Pilafhead (edited October 07, 2000).] [This message has been edited by Pilafhead (edited October 07, 2000).]
