PanARMENIAN.Net - Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against the editor of Agos Turkish-Armenian newspaper Robert Koptas and writer Ümit Kıvanç. Koptas and Kıvanç criticized the sentence on slain journalist Hrant Dink’s case, Agos reported.
Resident of Antalya, Aydin Tasçin filed a complaint against the statement, Koptas and Kıvanç issued on January 17, 2012 on Haber Turk TV.
“Turkish citizens Robert Koptas and Ümit Kıvanç (apparently Armenians) dubbed the Turkish state an assassin that keeps masterminding murders. As a Turkish citizen, I deem these words incomprehensible,” the citizen wrote.
Koptas and Kıvanç will be interrogated on the days to come.
