Hello fellow Armenians,

For a couple of months now, I have been looking for Harout Pampoukhchians song "Hye Kacher" in Turkish. I believe it was translated from a turkish song, and I also have the video of the Turkish video. Does anyone know who the artist is or what the song is called?

I am collecting all the Armenian songs which have been translated from Turkish songs. I will release the names as soon as I finish finding the songs which I intend to. If anyone knows any Armenian songs which have been translated from Turkish please let us now. BE SURE TO POST THE NAME AND SONG OF THE TURKISH VERSION OF THE SONG.

Thank You in advance,

"When someone takes the turkish music and just changes or translates the words to armenian he is not a Gusan."
-Error 404

Can you please tell us which songs of Aram Asatryan were taken from Turkish artists? I would very much like to know. Please dont tell me you don't know.

it is important to nuance that and mention that Aida's first cd was the only album to my knowledge that contained turkish music, the later ones didn't and most of the songs were composed by Armenian composers with their names mentioned, as in Aida cannot be classified on the same page as mino, romik and the rest...
as for harout's songs, i just know of two songs "hye kacher" and "hye aghchik im annman" that were translated, i think i might find a tape version of one of them (the original turkish), ill try...

Yes hayemyes her first album was copied from Turkish songs. Her newer albums I believe were composed by Armenians. But I am still working on my collection. If you can get Harouts songs in Turkish I would appreciate it.

Aramin "Taskinag" song is Turkish in my opinion unless Turks stole it from Armenians long, long time ago.
In Turkish the song is called "Salla salla Mendilini" even the music is similar to it.

there's also the greek version of that with similar words, i think its one of those songs that every country in that area have a version of,

and as for the adana song previously mentioned, no doubt its copied from armenian, even the turkish singer admits it in her album cover

Yes Yervant.
You forget the Arabic "Hizzi, hizzi putsinak@/koussinak@.
You also forgot the Turkish "Salla, salla am/goetunu".

Only if our brothers, and sisters in Yerevan knew as much Turkish and Arabic!
Those sonofabitches! After Komitas’ beautiful tribute to our lovely women…“Chinare es…keranal mi” (you are our "Sycamore, do not BEND)"we have to dance to tunes like “Sharzhe, sharzhe…vorik-puts@”

Yervant1, Arpa

Thank you very much for the info. I will try to find the Turkish versions of the songs as well. If you know any other songs that have been translated, please let me know.

Thank You,
Googler
