women complain too much.........
men are pigs
men only like food and sex........
feel free to add more..i just came up with silly ones...and give your opinions....

I don't see anything wrong with this. Good analysis and to the point.

I think we forget that "stereotypes" are not some imaginitive creations because humans are creative animals. No.
They are there because something must be true. Generally a stereotype is used to describe the behavior of a certain group for the most part, while there are exceptions to the rule. Beyond that when people whine about stereotypes I wish I have a tennis ball to shove down their mouth ( this isn't meant to offend you I'm talking about the real everyday whiners ).
If it wasn't true that Asians are bad drivers, then we wouldn't be here saying Asians are bad drivers. If it wasn't true that Jews are cheap, well then we wouldn't have people saying Jews are cheap.
Okay, now here's my 3 cents to the thread. Armenians are nosy because they have big noses.

Oh, and for the record, all men are pigs, but in my case, a mouse.

lol good points mouse.. agreed that there is some validity to stereotypes...if they werent true to a certain extent..people wouldnt use them...just that i guess there are "some" exceptions...therefore people get away with it by classifying it as a stereotype.

Guys like my driving (or maybe I should say "liked," as I haven't driven in a coupla years' while), I don't say anything unless it's inevitable (and in fact hate whiners and beotchers and insisting morons), I love food, and I love sex and the outdoors (though have to admit I don't get nearly as much of the last two as I deserve). I love the fact that I am different.

I just hate to see people live up to their stereotypes... <shrugs>
